Hello there. I quilt for a hobby, and bind all my quilts. You should find it much easier to bind your books if you fold your binding fabric in half first. Then sew it on, flip the fold to the back and sew again. I quite enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing!

What stitch length do you use ? If I am using your other 5 step binding tutorial which leaves a gap for your spine binding, do I do the same using this technique ?

It doesn’t use any more fabric, because you are already turning the extra fabric on to the other side, when you do it your way. Fold your strip in half, sew it on as you already do, and bring the fold to the other side, and sew and finish as you did. Which is done beautifully, I might add!
I'm debating about ways to do binding on my edges when I'm planning to use interchangeable pages with the very large rings, like Stephanie from Imagine Our Life. I love the idea of the bound edge but not actually binding the pages all together. Any ideas?

Thanks! I tried different types of felt and different manufacturers, and the Korean one is the best for me! You can start from the Mini Felt Book, it is great for beginners :)
