I love you man! For real! I’ve been wanting to play so much but couldn’t figure the tuning out I needed to drop a whole step so I did four blocks on each string and now I can play my hair metal and it sounds record cisp! Playing d flat songs in standard is brutal but now I can tune up and down like a champ . Love guitar tuna had it for years but your video just unleashed me and I’m greatfull sir thank you very much! You the man ! I’m liking commenting and subscribing bro you actually earned it and deserve it!
do this, place your finger on the first fret.... then tune to standard. once you've done that let go of the first fret then boom half a step, do that to all the strings and you got half a step :). Ohhh I forgot to mention your intonation will be f*cked so uhhhhh it’ll be close-ish
Thanks - I just tried this and I got some -4 and -5s that would pop up. Am I shooting to get -5 in the red for each string? Or as close as possible to that? Appreciate it. It brings out a little bit of different (and cool) twang to my Squier Strat based on initial playing.
If I place a capo on first fret and tune it to standard with this app (against the center line), they say this should be a half step down. But when I remove the capo, every string is 5 blocks the left of the center line, not two blocks like he says in this video. So is he wrong or am I wrong?
Dude thank you. Pretty long winded, could have made this video 30 seconds long but never the less it helped me tune down half step! I liked but no sub for being too drawn out. Cheers.
2021!!GET FENDER TUNE ITS FREE AND ITS SET ON STANDARD TUNING BUT YOU CAN CHANG TO WHAT EVER YOU WHAT THEY HAVE THE PRECET FOR HALF STEP DONW AND UP AND THEY HAVE ALL YOUR GUITARS!!!!!!!!!thank you for your time
just found out you can put a kapo on the 1st fret and tune it standard the regular way. then when you remove the kapo all strings are down a half step.
