Remember that commercial that you pointed out from Head and Shoulders where the guy is standing next to his date and doing a dirty gesture with that piece of paper in his hand? Well it was on the episode from the other night and it looks like they made a correction and froze the image before it got out of "hand" so to speak. I am trying to find the date of the original run where you first saw it to compare.
@@fbueller I found the original version with the hand movements. Apparently the advertiser caught what he was doing on the original and decided to freeze the image on the new version after one stroke of his hand. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fb4ndv3-saY.html Just go to the Head and SHoulders commercial at 16 min and 30 secinds in.
Pleas everyone understand I am not cutting the end credits those are cut on the original video tapes I’m sorry that they’re cut as well but there is not anything I can do about it. Marks tapes will sometimes have full end credits cut. And unfortunately during the three-year run on the USA network …..the USA network also ended up cutting a lot of the credits before they finished!
27:47 How in the world did relatively new cast member Raymond Serra end up with 4th billing in the current cast credits? Longer term cast members should have seniority. Where were cast member agents to fight for this?
@fbueller This is actually a great question. And I reached out to Sharon Gabet tonight to ask. She said that Ray was kind of a hot shot around the studio. But everyone adored him. Most actors did not care about the billing she said. It was all about money and vacations! LOL! Of course except for a few like Ann of course. Sharon told me that it probably mattered to Ray and his agent did most likely negotiate a deal in the contract to move his name up in the cast. He's on the show for another 6 months so it would be interesting to see if it says on top.
It looked to me like after Ann Flood and Forest Compton, they started listing the cast alphabetically starting in a random point. Starting with "P" for Parker then through Townsend then back to "A."
@@scottholloway2401 I guess it depends on who was running the Credit machine that day. I just looked at an episode from September 1982 and Ray Sierra is back down to the bottom of the cast list again
Thanks I had a check several times in the last hour and a half to see if the episode really is out there I was shocked to find no comments at first post! 🙂🙂
Thanks so much for the TEON episodes !! Any chance you can get your hands on some One Life To Live episodes from the same period.....1982 or 1983 ? I've already seen all that is on RU-vid and am looking for something in particular. Thanks so much.
I wish I could. I have a friend who has been searching high and low for the last 15 years for anyone who has 1980 to 1983 OLTL with no luck. It seems nobody recorded them daily like they did GH and Edge. At best we need to find one of the actors that may have tapes i storage. If they are willing I would gladly transfer them for everyone to enjoy
@@Edgeofnight80s Hey.......thanks for your response. I posted a few episodes of OLTL from the early 80s that I transferred from VHS to digital. Yes....I wish we could find someone who would allow us to do the transfers. I was in contact with Jacquie Courtney's daughter a few years ago, but she said she didn't have any contacts for tapes. I may try again, though. Haha.
@@steved4641 Well if you find anyone that has OLTL VHS or Betamax tapes be sure to ask for Betamax because I have a working machine still that I can do transfers on I’d be more than happy to do them for you. We found someone in 2010 who had nine months of General Hospital episodes from 1981 on first generation Betamax tapes that we’ve got transferred. They were all on RU-vid
