The Edge Rudder Series from Puakea Designs 

Last year Johnny Puakea, along with Billy Lawson and the Puakea Designs Hawaii Team, designed four new rudder designs for our canoe line up. In this talk story session, Johnny breaks down each design, explains the why behind the different designs and what they were thinking about when designing our latest rudders.
These 4 rudders include the Edge 10.3, Edge 11.5, Weed 6.3 and Surfing Weed 8.5 designs. These are all available through Puakea Designs and Outrigger Zone for the Kahele, Volare and Cantare (our designs still in production with Ozone). For the Ehukai and Kahe Kai our previous rudder designs are available for those canoes with the addition of the Surfing Weed 8.5 Rudder.
