The Edinburgh Trial is one of the three, classic long distance trials. It has been going for over 100 years and rewards good driving skill, navigational skill without electronics, endurance and roadside mechanical ability. No outside assistance is allowed. There are various classes of motorcycle and motorcar. This stage is just south of Hartington in the Peak District of England.
