So many brave confederate orphan brigade members buried there, even a CSA orphan brigade veteran Paul Booker Reid who was the mayor of Louisville ,and CSA veterans that worked in other Louisville government positions. When some of the orphan brigade vets passed away the American flag was positioned at half mast at Louisville city hall. Of course this video failed to mention anything of the kind about that. The Louisville history they must have “forgot” to include on this presentation. Nicola Marschall, Philip Lee, Captain John H Ward, generals, etc. I can go on and on but in the end it’s the history they choose to mention and the history that they will leave out because they don’t want to catch heat. Do what’s politically correct because after all it’s Louisville and it’s the “crown jewel” of Kentucky. At least crown hill cemetery is well kept for now. The way it’s going in that city in the future it might look like the side of the rode on gene snyder or watterson expressway. Maybe the homeless camps will move in to give crown hill some living history in the future.
