RIP lead singer John Kezdy who died on Aug 26, 2023 in Glencoe a north suburb of Chicago in a bicycle accident with an Amazon truck. I remember seeing him play the clubs here in Chicago back in the early 80s, my younger days. Thanks for all the great music the Effigies gave us. Keep on punkin'

I still have this album. Saw the across the street from wriggled field and was 5 feet from them . This band is epic . Chicago when it was a safe place. Now gun up . Shoot to kill when the black punks come up on you. I love this album and band .
