@@TheIlluminatedMan I see that my answer was vague so I rewatched the video to answer more specifically. I will number them. 1. Your statement about being one person in private and one person in public. -I believe everyone has this and this is normal. It allows society to function and social interactions to take place. The “public persona” is always going to be incongruent with the real person. Else that person be ostracised from society. 2. The statement about looking at someone who walks into a room and just being able to know if they’ve got it together or if they’re painting on a smile but losing private victories or something. -This is about confidence and self assurance. Of course both come from someone who has “got it together” but it also comes from people who haven’t. Confidence is not causally related to that, it’s only correlated. Similarly someone’s confidence & self assurance can be correlated from their physical appearance or bank balance or belief that they are superior than others. Their behaviour in private can be awful and it wouldn’t affect them because their esteem is not contingent on that. Therefore you can’t tell whether someone has it together in life from first appearances. “Energy” can be deceiving. 3. The statement that retaining semen long term might make you an enlightened being. -Absolutely no evidence for this whatsoever. This is what gave me the metaphorical eye roll. Sounds culty as hell. So called “enlightenment” is not even accurately defined. But is usually meant to describe wisdom and insight. There’s no evidence that semen retention provides these benefits. Wisdom and insight is the result of experience, intelligence and reflection. Not rituals like retention. 4. The statement that retention puts you on a higher frequency. -Again this sounds new age culty and nonsensical. No one even knows what is meant when new age people throw around the word frequency. It’s used in many different contexts that do not align. Such as some using it to describe a spiritual or energetic frequency whereas some use it to describe a literal physical frequency in the brain waves or in the tissues of the body. The word is ill defined and overused by culty groups such as psychics, reiki practitioners and any new age ideas. It’s for these reasons that I call it an ideology. There’s no facts that support these things. They are just ideas. Thus ideology. Specifically a new age semi-spiritual ritualistic ideology. There’s evidence that men who ejaculate more often have a reduced chance of prostate cancer. Around 35% lower risk. Risk levels appear to decrease in line with an increase in ejaculation frequency. Meaning more ejaculation, less risk. Scientifically proven with data. Make of that what you will. I’m sure you’ll dismiss it because it doesn’t fit in with your ideology but do so at your own peril. That’s not to mention stress reduction benefits. Of course there is a healthy balance to strike in order to optimise energy.
