i feel for you man , i was with the rockers in sydney same time , there was a bit of a split in the rockers too over venues , at first we shared many venues with punk ,skin ,mod and rocker , we were friendly with mods then something changed in the mods and we went the english way of enemies ,i think that was what quadraphinia was about maybe , silly really , we had some pretty good punch ups though , someone threw a rope round some scooters and dragged em down the rd a bit after some of us got belted for showing our faces at the trade union club one night , it'd previously been ok , what a time we all lived thru , all the 80's thru to about 2000 was a legend time ,we learned our lesson with media after gettin screwed by beatbox and current affair with editing , i think gst and the corporatising of our world is what eventually destroyed it all ,, cheers brother
Really enjoyed that Rob. Well put together. Remember the Bat Cave. Can't remember the Hotel's name. Used to live on the other side of Punt Road in Vale Street in those days. Then they turned it into a 7/11. Bad move that.
