The Elaborate Story Behind "Shia LaBeouf" Live

After Tally Hall took an extended hiatus in 2011, the many band members needed a creative. One of these was Rob Cantor. Rob was the yellow tie, and the mind behind songs like "Greener", "Welcome to Tally Hall", and "Never Meant To Know" on the albums Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum and Good & Evil.
He wrote many demos in the early 2010's, one of which centered around a fictional crazed version of Shia Labeouf. Then, in 2014, Cantor decided to revisit the demo and give it the music video it deserved in order to get the word out about his latest project, "Not a Trampoline". The end result was a viral video that defined how the internet saw both Rob Cantor and Shia Labeouf.
Oh also Shia Labeouf is in the news right now because of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’

I remember watching an interview of Shia on Ellen, and she asked him what the weirdest rumor about him was, and he said that some people thought that he was a cannibal. I can't imagine why.

I never got into Tally Hall, but for some reason Banana Man became this huge in-joke in my particular group of internet miscreants. Blew my mind when I realised the Shia Labeouf guy was one of the songbirds!

Wait... what? I thought they didn't have any connection, and Banana Man is old, like pre-RU-vid. Do you have a source for this?

Ohhhh I think I get it now. When I read this comment, I thought it was saying Shia Labeouf was one of the birds. But I guess "the Shia Labeouf guy" is referring to Rob Cantor.

Fun fact, Cantor is one of the main writers for Tally Hall, but their actual song literally titled "Cannibal" isn't written by him.

The big question I've always had about this is if everyone was paid or not. Like you said in here, nearly 100 people on and off stage worked for 12 hours, was there an insane budget or was all of this volunteer??
@bubble3771
@bubble3771 Год назад
Good question, but let's be honest. If Rob Cantor asked you to work on this project with so much potential, and you've also seen everywhere on the internet, would you really say no if you'd have to work in it for free? Lmao
