What Political Intrigue of High Isle, ZOS said the chapter would be political intrigue except it was until Firesong threw that out the window and brought back another world ending doomsday scenario that fated the end of the world on a deathmatch between us and the threat.
Kinda "meh" about the fact they had the liberty of creativity to make a brand new daedric prince design, something we have not seen since, well, almost forever, and they decided to just make her look like a normal person with tattoos.
Definitely feel the disappointment at scribing being behind a paywall. I've felt that about pretty much all expansion features. I stopped buying expansions when I realized I hadn't even gotten around to playing a few of the ones I had and not to mention the fact I hadn't even fully explored non-aldmeri zones. So I just started orsinium again after completing cadwells gold and will be continuing through the dlc and expansions as they appeared (except thieves guild and dark brotherhood because they're icky.) But all that still brings the problem that I don't get to enjoy these new features post-elsweyr because I don't have the money to just blow on expansions I might not play for a long while. It sucks trying to find inspiration for builds and 90% of builds are based around oakensoul and pale order.
I am excited for the new dlc and all. Im also glad that they try to make each zone look different. However, one thing im noticing more as time goes on, is all zone npcs look similar to each other. Their body language is similar to every other npc as well. Their voice is recognizable sometimes too. Not to mention, the wild animals and monsters are the same too, with some new additions from time to time. Im not sure if this is mentioned as much, but i hope future dlcs can get new face models and textures. It can work the underlying character creation/customizing tech as well within ESO.
Colovian Highlands & Skingrad make 2 of my RP mains come to life finally, this reveal had me shaking, prepurchased before it was half over. I'm so excited for everything coming & I can't wait to hit 'create character' on June 5th to start my new journey oml
Since your head canon was mentioned in the video, I wanted to say that what has me the most excited for this new chapter is the fact that we will finally be visiting an area where my main character was born. He is an Imperial, but he is also Colovian so it will be great to experience an area where he was raised as a child, and it might also help me work out a few more details about his past. I don't exactly role-play in the game, but I do love to give my characters backgrounds and relationships so every time a chapter is released, any of the lore that is explored helps me expand on that. Anyway, I'm ranting. Seriously, though, this is going to be a very exciting year. :)
Yea a valenwood dlc in full would be hard, there's not any additional territory for them like with high isle, the entirety of their province is in the base game, and falinesti is such a huge mystery and I wouldn't even imagine how they'd bring a walking city into eso and roaming around the base game areas like that.
My only deterrent regarding Eso are the whole dlcs and addons. Like I'm someone who'd like to own all content but that would be way too expensive for me I think. but Gold Road seems cool so far
I’m very pleased with the ambitions behind the Scribing system. Maybe now I won’t have to use the gear set that makes my holy Templar vomit poison out of his eyeballs every 3 seconds just to provide a group buff 🗿
The thing with the Bosmer inclusion is I'm not seeing any new models or textures in their biome, it all looks like it was pulled out of 2014 Grahtwood with the same trees and snugpods. People want new furnishings, updated architecture and even foliage. Maybe I'm wrong and that's in there but if it's not I'd rather it just all be traditional West Weald. I think at the very least we can expect Ancestral Bosmer armor so that's nice.
I wonder how this Prince will be dealt with. Considering she's not in the future games of Oblivion and Skyrim (I know she wasn't developed yet but) I'm hoping she gets a fate like Jyggalag, free and we can see her again in the future, since I just like the Princes so muccchhhh
we already have one with the warden gray bear. people have been asking for that for a while though, mainly to morph sorc's pets to something less purple and ugly

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really understand how there’s a new Dedric prince. I get there are Dedric princes we haven’t seen yet in any of the games but they are at least mentioned somewhere. A new one just doesn’t make any sense because this is the earliest game in the series.
There's only one possible conclusion for this story for it to not absolutely destroy the continuity of the lore, and that's for this new Daedric prince to get deleted from existence again by the end.
You don't understand how the daedric prince of forbidden knowledge kept a secret and then (I assume) managed to make it AGAIN a secret once word got out briefly ages in the past? Doesn't seem like much of a suspension of disbelief to me considering all the other things that have gone on in Elder Scrolls lore over the years.
Annnd....THIS is why we need a gender-neutral personal pronoun in english, haha. We'll have to settle with either 'it' (doesnt sound right for a person) or 'they'...which is technically plural. :P

All I wonder with the zones.. how many more will there be? I see like 10 more possible options on Tamriel + small islands and maybe few deadric realms. Would love to see whole map finished. But I guess it will take 10 more years
Ah yes can't wait to customise my favorite spammable skill, mage light 😩 fr tho can't wait to finally customise resto staff abilities so u don't feel like a wannabe templar no matter what healer class u play.
Imagine if a skill style wasn't limited to colour but changed the appearance entirely. Like the damn matriarch model, I would grind something for a hundred hours to be able to change that thing into something smaller.

Somehow I don't feel like looking for information piecemeal, especially after the last chapters are rather disappointing for me personally. So maybe there will finally be something that will force me not to devote the whole year to housing only.
ESO has now become paid to win got to love it this game has been unbalance and has so many other problems and there now adding a mechanic they now have maintain and look over now not to mention how this is unfair to the people that don't want the DLC so are they just going to be at disadvantage now because they don't have this DLC I have high doubt this is going to be balance on test servers locking a mechanic behind pay wall that is going to have a huge impact on the game and how people build there classes don't think is right but a what do i know right LOL🤣🤣
As an Red(EP) Imperial and a PvP player I am LOVING 2024, a diamond anniversary crate, a imperial colovial area, scribing, New housing tool and then a pvp update! I expected nothing and somehow gained everything. ZOS BLESS US IMPERIALS WITH A RED DIAMOND/EMPORER RADIANT APEX MOUNT IN THE DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY CRATES!!! Literally got 16k seals ready for if they bring one xD im gonna save all of my gold and rip the Whitestrakes events for gold too so i can get everything in these upcoming crates :)
As a hard-core bosmer fan I'm bummed we arnt getting some falinesti wood elf galore chapter. But I'm grateful for at least SOMETHING. And I've often thought about the valenwood swallowing up cyrodiil. So it's wild that's what's actually happening
Great video as always, Arttea!! For me, this expansion looks awesome. As someone who is off and on with this game, I really do like where the game is going. If they keep giving us more good earnable content in the game. That's only better for us players. So, I sincerely hope they keep going down this road.
Sell your account while you can still make a buck, use the money for a gym membership, and improve your IRL stats such as going back to school, taking something at community College, or just focusing on nutrition & fitness, so you can finally do that traveling you been wanting in shape

Soon as I found out Spellcrafting (Scribing) was happening ON TOP of cosmetic options... I could only mutter "thank fuck...". Looking forward to this year very much and this added another huge reason.
I can pretty much guarantee that this new system will be monetized to hell and back, especially the skill styles, there's no way a company as predatory with MT's as them won't put almost all of them in the crown store for absurd prices.
@@SekiberiusWelkesh I get the negativity but they said on screen it'd all be earnable in game. That said the system itself is only unlocked via the chapter purchase, so you're partially correct - you're going to have to pay something.
hyped for the new zone (and fennorian's return!), but not for the new daedric prince. there are still some existing princes who deserve a proper spotlight
Maybe this will get me back into ESO. I skipped Necrom cause I was really burned out midway through High Isle. But from time to time I really get the itch to start playing again.
Red Mountain guilds on xbox NA are full of great people. We dont all agree, but we are friendly and respectful :) try embers (free) or ashes if u want a competitive sales experience
It’s because it is meh 😅, if you like the story then that’s fine but other than that they haven’t done anything meaningful in the game in a long time. AI combat is boring and just grindy there’s no actual challenge to anything in the game
@@coreybroussard5264 lack of creativity. Get on a low lvl char, dont slot cp, and go solo duns. U can always adjust playstyle to create a challenge:) also, jump into pvp on same char, and tell me there is no struggle, haha. I love rocking off-meta theme builds, or my nekkid pvp stamsorc
@@dangrimes6200 I have to completely gimp my self to make content harder not because the AI actually becomes harder but because I do less damage and can’t heal as much 😂 you have the craziest defense to bad game development I’ve ever seen. Same stupid idea as when games arbitrarily increase level cap on enemies to make them harder aka bullet sponges rather than make interesting gameplay
