This game is so awesome. I played it at launch and was disaponted, came back 1 year later and I am compeletly loving it. Best mmo out there imo, give it a shot, you will get addicted!
Some Bethesda fans need to be more appreciative. I thoroughly enjoyed this. ... And even though he was defeated, the Breton was still my favorite by far.
Really against almost any other opponent he would have won, he stabbed that motherfucker at least four times and barely slowed him down. That shits just plain superhuman.
I don't get all the hate towards TESO, I think it's a fairly decent MMORPG set with the TES lore. And they listen to fan suggestions, reason why you have the Thief and Justice System. Sure it took some time, but it was more important to fix the bugs and clean out all the mess like bots and farmers. Don't forget that this is Zenimax's first shot at an MMO and I personally think they did a good job. WoW was pretty shitty in its early days as well and needed a lot of time to grow (10 years, to be exact ;)). As for me, I love the game, love the cinematic trailer, would love to see a TES movie someday and in the meantime I'll keep enjoying my game. P.S.: It's because of the trailer that I have issues with the Ebonheart Pact, love the Daggerfall Covenant and respect the Aldmeri Dominion. Really, guys, give it a shot, it's worth it :)
People say it breaks the lore, and I guess it sort of does, but it seems pretty fun anyway. I would have loved to play it, but I didn't have money for a sub fee + buying it. Can't wait till I can play for freeish :D
tacoblocko Please explain to me how it breaks the lore. I know I've only been familiar with TES since Skyrim, but I did a lot of reading through the different wikis and I'm kind of curious on what that statement is based on. Not trying to be an ass or anything, even if I'm sounding like one. I really recommend it, it's a nice game to pass time, there's tons of stuff to explore and hey, if your friends are up to it, join up in groups and do some troll- I mean gaming :D The only reason I stopped was due to lack of time and not wanting to have that feeling to be paying for something I'm not using. But now that's free it's BACK TO TAMRIEEEELLLL~
Raiigen Well as far as I've seen, there has been nothing in the lore, none of the books, or any of the wiki, ever stated anything about Molag Bal invading tamriel before ESO. I think that's the only thing really, though I could be wrong. XD I haven't looked it up too much.
Really well put together cinematic. Captured a great deal of story without any dialogue, which isn't the easiest thing to do. Not to mention it's stylish as hell. Kudos.
This was almost half an hour pure epicness! I have so much respect for the team that animated this, it just looks so amazing! And thinking that maybe in 5-10 years we will have games that have those graphics all the time is also amazing!
John Titor To be perfectly honest, it's pretty much the same in any game, even Oblivion and Skyrim. The difference is just how big that actual "hit" area is and whether there are hit zones. ESO doesn't have different hit zones, but it's an okayish tradeoff for the MMO part IMO.
Yo why do they hate the Breton ninja dude so much, he was badass but they killed him off, TWICE! Also that warrior guy got stabbed in the stomach by two swords at the same time and just walked it off, I call some bullshit.
He's Nord. He can take a blow even without wearing a full black armor, a closed helmet and guarding some giant river. "It's just a flesh wound." More serious: It would also matter whether some organs were hurt. You can get shot with rather little actual damage as well.
why did they change the elf appearance, i always liked that the elves in elder scrolls were unique and alien looking, now they look like attractive humans with pointy ears
This right here is just fantastic. I've often wondered what The Elder Scrolls would look like as live action, and actually dismissed that thought, but this.......it's brilliant.
Really want more emotional moments in Elder Scroll games like the scene with the dying breton near the end. Just to clear things up, necromancer make generally do deals with the ideal masters but if they are dedicated to a specific daedric prince, like Molag Bal, then the souls will go to them. The Nord badass was in Coldharbour at the end
TES:O is a decent game, believe it or not. And the model they're switching to is BUY-TO-PLAY, as in you buy the game and get all content until patch 1.6 for free. Each new piece of new content will sell as DLC packs for people who don't have the "premium subscription" ($15 a month).
I love the Breton (?) in this. He's so slick and amazing, and I was in tears when he saw what I'm assuming was the love of his life, and apart of her dress she wore or something. Idk much about The Elder Scrolls lore since I'm new to the world. I was in tears. The moment between the little elf and him was the best.
@@donsorenoelchapogringo1182 tbh, i really liked the cgi of that movie, for me that was what got me interested in it because i know Jack shit about warcraft XD
I LOVE BLUR STUDIOS! Thank you Zenimax and Bethesda for getting them to do these awesome cinematics. This one had a wonderful sense of completion and connection to the game with the very ending. Great way to show what your characters might have gone through before they even started the game. Beautifully done and kudos to everyone involved.
I have got to say this is undoubtedly the most entertaining thing I have seen in a long time. The nonstop intensity and graphics quality for such a long video is the indication, in my personal opinion, why Bethesda Softworks is hands down the best game developer in the world. I can't wait for anything that Bethesda is working on to release as soon as possible, Fallout 4 especially.
DesertFoxCXVII What Imperials? they are already dead or have splintered off and joined the other 3 factions... the minions of Molag bal control the city... we dont even see any imperials in this trailer at all...
Bethesda Softworks =/= Bethesda Game Studios. Softworks in Mainly a publisher. They develop their own Games as well but the "big" games like Fallout 3 and Skyrim are the Works From Bethesda *Game Studios* :)
Filip Petrovic yes they did, check the Lead and Designers and Producers on ESO. same people that worked on Fo3 and TES:V the whole fact that Zenimax and Bethesda studios where housed in the same building until 2010 just proves the point even more.
porlae According to IMDB, Todd Howard worked on Skyrim and Fallout 3 and isn't mentioned as having anything to do with ESO. Zenimax and Bethesda being in the same building doesn't prove your point at all. IMDB lists ESO directors as "Directed by Margaret Tang, René Veilleux." neither of them are mentioned as having anything to do with Fo3 or TES:V.
Lovely! Now I don't have to favorite all the cinematics separately! Side note: I feel as if the audio was a tad off in this version; though that might just be my mind playing tricks on me.
TESO became one of my all time favorite after work vacations. Not even calling it a game, a digital parallel world to go to, when all is done. A world not nearly 1% as looney and insane like our world. Great thing they created there.
Nice to see these in one go. Have not played since I hit max level, two months after release, but looking forward to playing on the 17th and see if anything was added for Max lvl peeps. Plus I do miss the PVP zone. The 56 people disliking it must not appreciate the time that goes into cinematic clips.
I love cgi trailers, yeah, i know it doesn't have anything to do with the gameplay of said game (and i value gameplay and good mechanics in a game more than anything else), but i love cgi trailers because they are awesome movies, and i loved the little story that those 4 trailers told us.
Sort of. But this one is Molag Bal, and he has to resort to more advanced tactic than portals, what with the majority of the towers active at the time. The Dragonfires were unlit, but he couldn't invade until piercing the veil using the stone of the White Gold.
The story, the concept and everything about this game is amazing except the fact that it's an online multiplayer... this is a major turn-off, plus the fact that it was really over-hyped, these trailers, those badass drawings of the alliances and their leaders...Still love the game though!
Why are people still going on about Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, why isn't anyone pissed that they still haven't shown anyone the FUCKING DOOM GAMEPLAY YET? I bought Wolfenstien I signed up for the beta yet I'm still not worthy of seeing at least something other than that lame ass teaser? Come on.
Exactly Wolfenstein and DOOM are amazing games I mean I have patience and can wait but instead of posting these things they should post more info at least on DOOM. I am just glad they did end up doing something with Wolfenstein though because it is a great game.
The trailers are awesome and the game is one of my favorites. I play it every day. Im still excited for elder Scrolls 6! But for now this game fills the void :)
Now that was an interesting fight, nord vs breton.. amazing but yeah theres some kind of backstory with this breton guy.. i wish i could even begin to speculate who was that lady in blue (obviously his lover, right?).. Then that mercy kill and the nord watching weird magic shit, good one..
I don't get how y'all can hate this trailer. Beautiful art, AMAZING fight scenes. Do I care how this is reflected towards the actual game? A little, but not enough to discredit this. MORE PLEASE
I want TES 6 too but in a few more years at least. TESO isn't in the spirit of the elder scrolls and messes with the lore so that is why I don't like it but I can still wait for the next TES game.
HamanKarn567 how exactly does it "mess with the lore"? Its an elder scrolls title so any and all lore presented in ESO is now solidified as part of the entirety of Elder Scrolls lore
HamanKarn567 that's it! I also don't get that TES-feeling while playing it.You see, no music from Soule, not even closely. And the visuals seem extraordinary grotescue while all TES games felt realistic, even surreal Morrowind. But I am sure when Bethesda makes the next part, it is going to blow everybody away again.
I couldn't find these trailers for the longest time, I was starting to think I was imagining them. My only complaint is that all the playable races weren't visible. You see Argonians, no Khajit, Redguards or Orcs. So, I guess now we know the High Elf didn't kill the Breton, she healed him, and he harnessed the power of Necromancy he'd been "gifted" by the Daedra.
Dumbledore? Is that you :0 ? I could have sworn it was his voice in the beginning of the video xD ! I really love this videos, I'm #TeamAldmeriDominion by the way!
Every person who actually knows the lore and isn't just against ESO because "omg multiplayer bad reeeeeeeee" agrees and knows that TES fills in a lot of gaps we didn't have for the lore, and improves things we knew already. It's literally just you, having only played played the games and not having dug into the clusterfuck that was the lore before this that thinks the game made a mess of it. No, it tidied up some parts but in general it's still the mess it is and always has been.
Andrew Willcock I think you misread my response, mate. I'm saying ESO helps the lore. Take a nap and read it again, or go get some coffee and try your hand at reading again if it's the morning for you. I doubt it's that I dislike the game considering I just hit 300 champion points a week or so ago.
Jager Ruiz because he's butthurt and wants a game that has not come out yet, the beauty of this MMO is that we don't have stupid fuckers like this one, we don't always want a new game because there's already so much in this game you can play as long as you want.
the Long version of the trailer/s is worthy of my Like ! This needs to be a TV series, cause a Movie would just f*ck the lore up, a TV series would give time for character development and make us hate or love them... most game-inspired movies now-a-days dumb down the story to the point that you have Good vs Evil in a black and white world, TESO would have real success as a series mostly because there are enough lesser knows characters(most of the characters are lesser known) that you could go sideways and still find good stories to tell every episode or story arcs every season/ few episodes. And the funny thing is if it were CGI and move like this 23 min "trailer" no one would complain for too much CGI
The nord is such a beast! Rocks crushed him, He was shot multiple times by arrows, He was stabbed and punched in the face and he still confronted Molag Ball lol
