As an American I think what separates most American actors (some are very good and use it as art form ) VS British American (most mind you ) is the money British its the art form If that makes any sense ......
dw6nvf That's the funny thing. It's Gambon's signature to interviews. He plays a character during his interviews. I think he's reallyyyyyy funny xD 'I like playing blind men... In fact, I always play blind men.'
Why wasn't there a table of contents? 0:00 0:14 - *Cadwell* (voiced by John Cleese) 2:21 - *Queen Ayreen* (voiced by Kate Beckinsale) 4:39 - *The Prophet* (voiced by Michael Gambon) 6:54 - *Abnur Tharn* (voiced by Alfred Molina) 10:14 - *High King Emeric* (voiced by Bill Nighy) 13:28 - *Molag Bal* (voiced by Malcolm McDowell) 17:09
eternasapphiremoon81 That would be an introduction before each character. A table of contents would be all characters listed before the introduction of any characters so viewers can take a look at all of them and select the appropriate one. Cheers.
I just heard him (king emeric) talking to his wife about how she looks in a particular outfit and it was the single most hilarious thing I had ever heard. It’s also the line that made me realize I was listening to Bill Nighy lol
HOLY SHIT, Elder Scrolls Online is going to be one fucking awesome film! ...Oh, wait... In al seriousness though, Hollywood Producers should take note from Videogame Producers.
The problem is if Hollywood producers and execs got their grubby hands on something like The Elder Scrolls series, they would shit on the lore and add a ridiculous love element to it, if I wanted them to make a movie of The Elder Scrolls universe then I'd want Bethesda to have a heavy hand in the decision making of the story, just like Ratchet & Clank is getting.
Best cast ever. Zenimax picked the most beloved of actors for the most beloved of games. Thank you for this incredible game with this incredible cast of actors
AWESOME cast. Malcolm McDowell was an excellent choice for Molag Bal, and I think Kate Beckinsale will make an awesome elf queen. I do think they should've made Bill Nighy a vampire character though (or maybe that's just stuck in my head from the Underworld series).
The blind man's voice is amazing!! And from the tidbits we're hearing, it seems the main story will be much more epic and have a lot more focus this time around, which may make it the best TES game ever (exploration, sidequests, intact lore AND a great story??). Must have crossed into the realms of Aetherius while asleep or something.
As much as Malcolm McDowell does an awesome job portraying a powerful villain.... ...I'm going to take great pleasure in kicking Molag Bal's Daedric tail and stealing my soul back. :D
That's a complete aside anyway, I didn't say "Everyone in this voice cast is British and therefore they're good", I said "Good British voice cast lineup", meaning those that are British are good. Silly people.
You have to admit it, they get some of the best voice actors for any videogames for Elder Scrolls. Oblivion had patrick Stewart, Sean bean, and Terrence Stamp. Skyrim had Max Von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Micheal Hogan, Joan Allen, and Vladimir Kulich. Just outstanding voice actors.
Wow!! Molina I love him, he is a great actor! I guess we all have favorites, but I had no idea they were pulling out all the stops. Glad I pre-ordered!
Also played the Beta last weekend for the stress-test. Despite bugs, it was great fun, and a good balance between a 'traditional MMO', TES, and something a bit new. If you haven't played the beta, but like MMO's, are a TES fan, (even long, long term like myself), or just like good games - this is worth a go. Provided they iron out a fair few technical kinks in time, it's looking a hell of a lot better than previous MMO's at launch. Ignore the haters, they're full of it. But don't expect it to match 10 years of extra content and refinement to mechanics right out of the door - that's a beyond retarded expectation.
Voice acting is amazing! I really liked how they put themselves into these characters. I hope that actual ingame animation will follow these amazing voices.
This cast looks absolutely amazing. It kind of makes you more involved into the story line instead of just skimming through dialogue. It truly immerses you into the Elder Scrolls universe. That said, I have so much respect for anyone who plays the part of an antagonist. My props go out to Malcolm McDowell for his part. It takes a certain skill to be the hated person of a story.
I will particularly enjoy having Dumbledore talk to me throughout the game. However, some of these actors appear to have no idea about their actual characters within the context of the game.
Christoffer Tagg killgroup I thought he was a soundalike actor (Like how in Star Wars there are soundalike actors in the animated stuff that sound like the life-action actors). But it turns out he was the real deal.
omg... Kate!! she is my hero!! and Bill Nighy!! Im huge fan of Underworld and just see the 2 of the from the World best Movie that just.. wow.. can not explane but gosh the best moment of my Life!
Amazing cast of voice actors. While it will be exicting to hear these amazing actors in game, let's put most of the budget into actually creating a great game. I'm extremely excited for this game and I'm really hoping it will live up to my expectations. Don't get too confident Zenimax, it will only make the game bad.
A world class cast for sure, but Mr. Molina takes the cake, his performance, and hence his character, is unparalleled. That said, Mr. Nighy has a voice that always makes me go "everyone shut up, Bill Nighy is talking".
These voices have been my companions for 2 years so I thank all the wonderful actors for acting the characters. Too bad we didn't get a tidbit from Peter Stormare who plays King Jorunn the Nord chief of the third faction (the Ebonheart Pact), he is fantastic as well. But as much as I love these parts, my favorite of all times is the voice acting performed for the French version of Rigurt the Brash XD
Yeah, Apart from that one time when they spent the entire voice acting budget of a game on hiring Patrick Stuart for the first 10 minutes of the game. Then used the same dude to voice pretty much the rest of the game
Chase Hammack I dont think that was the point tho lol... "Developers" or "Publishers". Who is making the game? Gives them a lot of say but certainly not the majority.
