Just keep in mind that not everyone can be Lee Shing Tsung (Tsung Tsung) or Shuan Hern Lee and there are people who've built their skills from much dedication and time. If you haven't seen the kids I've just mentioned, you should because it's a way to crush your dreams so you can re-evaluate yourself and be realistic so you don't quit half way. They're prodigies that will make you want to throw a hissy fit... I know it made me feel like destroying my piano. Patience and practice will get you to perform decently over time. It's been a year since I've learned to read notes and just been able to complete (very choppily after 3 months) "Vogel Im Kafig" played by tehishter on youtube. Some people learn faster than others and as far as I know, someone with 4 years of experience can learn that piece in less than a week -_-. Just keep at it, though the songs you want to play may or may not sound as you wished it would be, it will be an accomplishment that will make you feel great for learning it when you've gone past even a line. For me, it felt great to go through the first page of any song. Songs I've learned to play somewhat smoothly are "To Zanarkand", and "River flows in you". Songs I've gone past the first page but never finished are "The Entertainer", "Melodies of Life", "Fur Elise", "Moonlight Sonata 1st mvt". If you can't get past the first line of any of those songs after 2 weeks alone... you'll probably need a teacher if you want to continue to play piano. Be persistent and Good Luck.

+TheIceDragon86 'better' is subjective, he's very good technically, but playing piano well is not just about that, maybe he hears something in this performance he does not in Kyle's. The are far greater pianists than either of us probably, but don't use youtube.

I did not say that he can not enjoy this arrangement more, I was speaking strictly from a technical point of view, which this arrangement is not. I was also wondering how long you've been playing piano for and if you've studied at a conservator? Also do you simplify your arrangements intentionally?

+TheIceDragon86 maybe you should look at the sheets to my arrangement and tell me it's simplified. You shouldn't be concerned with the difficulty of music or how fancy it may look anyway, as many pieces are far easier than they look, if you add too much to a piece on piano it's normally because they're trying to prove something or show off. I don't add anymore than I have to, but to call this arrangement simplified is very strange indeed, and perhaps shows your limited knowledge of piano music. No offence intended either.
