I’m in my teens now and my dad is a huge elder scrolls fan, so he urged me to play Skyrim when I was 13. If this actually turns out to be somewhat accurate to my future, I’m coming back to this comment when I have started my Adventure back in Tamriel.🤩🤩

i remember a youtuber looking at the map and comparing to actual locations in hammerfell. Iirc the candle wasn't far off from a famous arena. So maybe we're a prisoner gladiator there? Ya never know... That said, cool comment bro

I honestly think the best and most realistic story is that after the events of Skyrim the Dragonborn discovers a lost piece of their prophecy, maybe through an elder scroll or something in Apocrypha, goes to Cyrodiil, proclaims their birthright to be emperor, becoming the first Dragonborn to sit on the throne since Martin Septim, which leads into the next game with a new protagonist or you can choose to play as the Dragonborn again. Maybe rather than having the same predetermined dialogue system your character has voice lines. Imagine how cool it would be to play an elder scrolls game with voice acting and character depth on the same level as God of War. Recipe for success right there.

@@blakebrown3888 not what I was getting at, I was talking about voiced named characters that actually have personalities. As good as Skyrim was the NPCs had about as much depth as a puddle and half the charm. Even with God of War styled gameplay, the franchise can only use the same formula for so long before it completely fails. Starfield and Fallout 4 are proof of that.

@@caiuscosades1791 no you were just getting at turning elder scrolls into a walking cinematic action game, with preset lines instead of roleplaying. Which is the very thing people have been wanting bethesda NOT to do. They don't retreat characters and even if they did, they can't create a player character in a sequel to match your own. It defeats the point of a roleplaying game by trying to retroactively decide it for us. Again you want to turn an unrelated series with a different style, into another. god of war isn't an rpg its a hack and slash story game. Fallout 4 was stale because its core writing (and voiced protag) were bad. Starfield is not as bad as people meme it to be, but it was still a disappointment (and had dozens more issues to contend with than the pre-established ips). Those ain't the gotcha you think they are. Their games are not gonna become what you're saying and they *wouldn't* be good if they did. Like seriously, elder scrolls is famous for being rpgs and massive explorative sandboxes what are you on about lol. Its like if you tried saying turn fallout 5 into call of duty or battlefield. Final note: nothing about what you said is 'realistic' that is the issue. And it doesn't come from a place of realism to begin with, but a desire to see the series turn into a wholly different genre. Their games would fail because of *that* not the formula getting stale. If the formula was then why have their elder scrolls games consistently sold and got game of the years every time they launched?

Thanks, although most melodies are from existing TES themes and some melodies are made up by me. But speaking of TES VI, there is just the trailer as you said, which had the most inspiration for me.

@@EHartmannMusic I still appreciate the old one, but with the little experience in orchestrating/covering I have, I get you more than enough. It's very hard for an artist to look at your older work without only seeing the issues in it.

@@EHartmannMusic Precisely. Though I do think there's a step in an artist's career when it comes to composition and covering that you can look at your older work and _at least_ consider it decent. It can take a damn while to achieve that step, though.

​@@symphonyoforder As of me, that is still ahead of me, which is fine. There a good amount of tracks, especially old ones who still feel ahead of time, viewed from the composition side. It is a very slow process.

I mean, technology these days has advanced to the point you could feasibly make a game where you could travel all across Tamriel and still have it be pretty realistic

elder scrolls spread over the entire tamriel is only cool in theory, not in practice. The same reasons people complain abotu starfield not being handcrafted would carry over to elder scrolls *but worse*. Because unlike the hundreds of barren worlds in starfield, tamriel is not barren and is actually very unique and full of life. So you'd be making something completely disrespectful to the series by spread the game so thin. Daggerfall esque procedrual generation + the games of the time being far simpler is the reason why it worked for 2. It wouldn't work these days.

@@youbtube870 read my other comment on the issue with that (so i don't pester you by just reprinting that lol). But todd has recently confirmed they aren't doing that, 6 is gonna be a map like they have made a name for themselves as.

I'm thinking of doing Morrowind, Oblivion and even Daggerfall remakes. It's always a balance choice I need to make, because I don't want my channel to be purely TES, so it will probably come eventually.

@EHartmann yeah man I've been viewing some of your other work. The big thing I've noticed is your overall quality and variety has super improved. Give us your take on pirates of the caribbean that's always an easy one to work with.

Well, Skyrim already is (thanks to modders too), so this will be a HARD achievement considering what they did to Starfield. And i HOPE Bethesda will prove me wrong and release the biggest banger ever.

You're rising a good point without being aware of it. When TESVI comes out, the theme and music has to sound good even for people with subpar equipment. This theme is just *too* good and complex to be official.

@@Masked_Official That's very nice to hear. Thank you. My "content" is not very algorithm optimized. I should upload more frequently, make longer videos, and have them very inactive, like call-to-actions with likes and comments, you know it. So having the intro shorter is one of the few things I do for the algorithm.

Very unlikely, as there is an official theme released. I think I could lift that theme more than the last one I did, it does not make sense as the game will be released soon.

Why Cyrodil? we already had that one in Oblivion. Hammerfell or High Rock are definitely the better options.

If you mean the Dragonborn chorus, that is on purpose. It's specifically for the Dragonborn timeline and I don't expect TES VI to feature a Dragonborn.

@@EHartmannMusic Go back and take a listen to TES6 Teaser Trailer and youll notice it has a lot more kick and a chorus. This theme you created has a lot to be desired but it isnt bad.
