This is the last song of “The Elders” project. Peregrine is a return to the sacred place that started it all. The giant stone circle that drew me into an ancient story, told by stones. The same stones that hummed every tune of this album to my ear. These stone have always been there. Long before mankind invented civilization, when nature was thought to be the true source that connected all living things. They were there. Their humming conjures a lost memory that was left behind prehistoric times. Yet it's resonating an ancient feminine wisdom in the ear of all those who are willing to listen, vibrating in every cell. I’m humbled and filled with deep gratitude as I stand there, singing and humming with those mighty stones. It is where I became fully aware of the wild woman’s old ways.
I thank the great goddess, the earth, mother of all things for the ever-spiraling cycles of nature that guided me in becoming a mother to my child, a mother to this music and a mother to myself. I will always belong to the earth.
