Me when I see the part where wilbur gets shot is red: okay, its probably just blood Me seeing fundy turn from blue to red: oh shit does that means he's evil Me remembering tommy's stream where wilbur goes crazy: THE RED HAS SPREAD-

On my god the color symbolism in this is ON POINT

here are the things i noticed: red means bad. jschlatt, quack are bad. blue means good, or our protagonists. wilbur, niki, tommy purple means neutral? or the ones in the middle, neither sided with jsclatt or wilbur fundy turns red as a sign of his betrayal towards tommy and wilbur when wilbur gets shot his chest turns into a tint of red, foreshadowing his betrayal towards pogtopia tubbo on the other hand, is red on the front but blue on his back, meaning he's sided with jschlatt whilst helping tommy in the shadows great animation man i love it

Wait so- THE ARROW THAT WENT THROUGH WILBUR’S CHEST- and red meant evil or so I think...so this just meant that it was spreading so from Their most recent stream that’s why Wilbur was corrupting :O nice touch!!

I like how each group has a different set of colors!! It's a very nice touch to distinguish them from each other! And the way Fundys color changes at the end and Tubbo has a bit of red! Gorgeous!

The touches of orange on Tubbo and when Wilbur got shot, Fundy's blue fading to Schlatt orange throughout the entire animatic, Nikkis burst of blue at her patriotism- AHHHH AND QUACKITY'S YES SIR AT THE END IT WAS SO GOOD-

THE WAY THAT ERET WAS PURPLE TO SYMBOLIZE THAT HE IS ALMOST A PART OF BOTH SIDES (red and blue) DUDE THIS IS SO DETAILED KEEP THE AMAZING WORK UP!!!

Unpopular Opinion: Schlatt is the good guy and Wilbur is actually the villain because.... 1. Wilbur basically caged L'Manburg inside the walls while Schlatt tore them down allowing them to expand their country 2. Schlatt and Quackity still won the election but Wilbur just wants all the power for himself, making it a dictatorship again 3. Schlatt actually made the place look better imo. Sure he tore down the walls and the old flag removing a lot of the "history" it had but tbh you need to move on from the past in order to prosper in the future 4. Dream is literally siding with Wilbur so that Schlatt doesnt expand. To me that's just two villains teaming up to get rid of the good guy That's just my 2 cents.

When the arrow shot Wilbur, and his colour tainted the warmer colour... I knew that was referencing to the recent stream. And also how Fundy and Tubbo started to get tainted. I also noticed that Ponk and Eret are a different colour, perhaps showing that they aren’t on either side? Or maybe the mix of the redish colour and blue, creating purple, showing us that they are on both sides. I love how you drew the characters and the emotion! Great job!

I love the colour symbolism! Schlatt, quackity, george are red which represents evil, tommy, tubbo, nihachu, and jack are blue representing good, hbomb has no colour given he only joined just recently, wilbur and fundy slowly are slowly being 'corruped' by red, and eret being purple which represents status as a traitor to L'manberg but not being completely evil. Good job with Schlatt's expressions! He looks so unhinged and is ready to blow at any moment! You've earned a sub :D

I know how the different meanings of the colors of the characters represent like, the different sides but how come HBomb is like, a grey color?

I love that quackity is the hype man on almost everything, it's like he feeds on the chaos and enjoys the madness XD

I like to think this is a trailer for a 11 season animated series, because it's too well done to stay in the shadows. I hope they all see this!

“Well...” The citizens of the fine nation sit anxiously, awaiting a speech from their new President, Jschlatt. “That was pretty easy.” Some chuckles from the crowd put everyone at a bit of ease. However, deep down... deep down everybody knows something terrible is about to happen. “You know what I said the day I got *unbanned* from the Dream SMP.” He smiles at his loyal assistant Quakity and chuckles. He was still sore from his banishment. He had seemed different after that. Like something had broken inside of his soul. “The day I said I was running... in the election I won by the way.” Silence. “I said things are gonna change.” Quakity and a few other supporters smile, happy for their brand new leader of their wonderful, wonderful country. “I looked every citizen of L’Manburg in the eyes and said ‘You listen to me...’” His breathing increases. Wilbur notices and squints his eyes, suspicious. “Things are gonna be a lot different tomorrow.” And that is when it hit him. A thought. A thought that became an idea. A horrible, awful idea. He smiled a horrible, awful smile and creased his horrible, awful brow. “Let’s start making it happen.” The smiling faces of his supporters faded slightly, eyes darted around the crowd. Quakity stood with his glasses on, proud as ever. “My first decree...” The President calmly looks out at his citizens. A smirk on his face. The citizens... well, most of them... smiling at him. He felt like a leader. He felt... *powerful.* He pauses for a moment, thinking. Ideas rushing into his mind, enveloping him in the corruption of power and greed. He was the President. Him. Not them, *just him.* “as President... of L’Manburg.” His eye twitches. Mad from power, the corrupt shell of a good person screams as if by instinct: “The Emperor of this great country!!”He looks out at his citizens.. no... peasants as confusion and fear enter most of their eyes. Jschlatt takes a breath, presents himself and continues: “IS TO REVOKE...” Eyes shoot up from the crowd. There’s no stopping him now. “THE CITIZENSHIP OF WILBUR SOOT, AND TOMMY INNIT!” Shouts of pity and victory erupt from the divided crowd, as Jchlatt stares directly into the fearful eyes of Tommy Innit and utters the words of war: *”Get them outa here.”*

THE COLORS OMG THIS IS AMAZING

The colour symbolism is incredible but oh my GOD the way you have animated Schlatt here takes the cake. When he leans forward passionately onto the podium and needs to straighten up and slick back his hair again to regain composure, like HELLO? Just. Brilliant. You are brilliant.

This video is why I started watching this series. Huge spoilers as my first video I've seen from this series, but actually getting to this moment in the series was so worth it

I usually don't comment on stuff like this, but I genuinely feel like I need to. In summary, this shit slaps. The expressions, the color symbolism, the staging, music choice etc. are all amazing. This is genuinely one of the best animatics I've seen in my time on this god forsaken space rock.

this is like the golden globes because theres one likeable very funny man on stage and a crowd consisting of mostly stinking rich people that i dislike, with the occasional really cool guy

He wasn't even a neutral party in purple before, he was full blue, and already switching sides 2:21 the red is creeping up onto Tubbo but hes apprehensive, and his back is blue. Hes being swayed to the other side but hes still uncertain 2:22 Fundy goes full red while Eret remains the neutral purple

I feel like I can clearly hear the surprise over Schlatt's amazing acting in this. You can tell everyone was getting chills during his speech from the chuckles and the gasps, those were not forced at all and I love and hate it at the same time

everyone's talking about the colors. so everyone on schlatt's side is red and everyone on l'manberg/pogtopia's side is blue. tubbo has bits of red but is mostly blue and fundy turns from blue to red, and i noticed eret is purple? does that mean he's nuetral?? because like,, isn’t purple a mix of red and blue? unless i have it wrong lol

Look, I’m just fucking happy Ponk was in this animatic...also Nikki’s coloration stepping out of the line art is a great representation of how distraught she was throughout the whole thing. She was amazing in acting her part enough to make it into a lot of these animatics, it just makes me so happy.

Just something about him slamming the podium and being able to see him breathing gets me and also the way the fabric of his suit moves when he swings his arm out, i love the little minute details like those.
