With so few decent people able to make it into the highest levels of our government, it's almost a badge of honor in itself to not win. Treachery and dishonesty seem to sadly be more successful than a honest man in politics. Corruption is almost a job requirement and unfortunately many voters seem to expect it. The fact you almost won gives me some hope, but I'm 61 and I am both amazed at our technical advancements but also alarmed at the state of many people's character today.

Remember In the first Rocky movie Rocky doesn't win, he proves that someone can go the distance with Apollo. You created an example and showed the people that it is possible to beat the establishment. You didn't win but you paved the way for others, so that maby one day someone will be able to win, they aren't invincible up there. Good job Brandon, you are incredible.

Hand to God. I put my name in to be a citizen volunteer on the Community Development Authority in my village, and am a background check away from being on a local political committee. I would NEVER have thought of doing it had you not started a campaign. I might be starting late in life, but I'm starting.

Please please please run again. The extra recognition from this campaign I'm sure would help in the next one. It was certainly close enough that it could sway the result next time.

I tried my hand at running for town council of a population of ~5K. The bullying, stalking and intimidation even in this small setting was overwhelming. I can’t imagine what you went through but much respect for your efforts.

Hey Brandon. Your run for congress against a corrupt system has inspired me to think of ways to affect change in my home state when I separate from the military. I plan on getting my certs at SDI, and starting my own business, and seeing what I can do in that time to bring about some real change just in my local area. Thank you from an entire generation of young gun enthusiasts for the inspiration and showing us we are not a voiceless group of a dying era, but that we can inspire the policy we wish our grandchildren can have, to grow up without the fear that our government will overreach their individual liberties. I have shared this video with many of the marines I know, and many of them have shared it with their friends and family. BTW, if Tony Gonzalez wants to pull the same BS he did to put him in this predicament, I will have an army of veterans willing to show support for your campaign, and volunteer to take a trip to Texas and help get your congressman out of his seat, and put a better candidate, who is worthy of District 23, in his place.
