The elegance of Áo Dài

Using the Sony A7CR and DJI RS3 Mini, I capture stunning visuals of this iconic Vietnamese dress. The footage, shot in Slog3 and graded with standard LUTs and the Film look plugin in DaVinci Resolve, brings out the vibrant colors and intricate details of the Ao Dai.
We visit Ao Dai Nga Nga, a tailor shop.
Nga, the owner, shares her inspiring journey from sketching designs to creating beautiful Ao Dais. Our journey takes us through the Hue Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, adding historical depth to the video. You’ll learn about the design, significance, and evolution of the Ao Dai in Vietnamese culture.
