THE ELITE FOUR IS IMPOSSIBLE... | Pokemon Scarlet & Violet INDIGO DISK DLC (Episode 2) 

It's interesting that the Indigo Disk feels like a combination of the 3 stories of the main game. It's all about beating the league (Nemona), resolving some school drama (Penny), and dealing with Area Zero (Arven).

I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN DRAYTON SAID THATS JUST PEACHY RIGHT AFTER KIERAN TALKED ABOUT A PUPPET MASTER

Gamefreak actually HAS done some dating related stuff, and funny enough it was ALSO in Unova with B2/W2! There's a optional, easily missable side quest where someone opposite of your character's gender loses their Xtransiever and you pick it up and speak to them through it, which eventually evolves into you two meeting and riding the ferris wheel.

Actually kinda crazy that we have an elite four that's all double battles. I love how they're characterizing Unova as a battle-focused region, especially with all the battle facilities those games had

Ttar : brings 4 pokemon, keeps useless moves like Slam and Grassy terrain Also Ttar : "This is the strongest my team can get" (In all seriousness though, it can be fun to give yourself a challenge !)

You’re missing Perin and whatever her side quest is because you didn’t finish the bloodmoon ursaluna quest in this save file

Another interesting thing about Lacys team is that not only does Excadrill represent her father, it also counters the two types that are super effective on Fairy making it optimal too

You can beat the entire main story line in line 8-10 hours. I played the DLC from basically 11pm last night until 8:15am this morning. I haven't been this invested in a DLC in a long time.

Eyo when Drayton said something like “That’s just peachy” when talking about Kieran I was like ok that’s something to remember🎉

This dlc was definitely worth the wait its story is incredible, Drayton is so amazing his personality clicked with me instantly.

Remember to catch 200 pokemon for Perrin's quest for which you also need to have completed the Bloodmoon Ursaluna quest in Teal Mask,and do visit the Crystal Pool in Kitakami

Ttar getting wrecked by lacy was really just Ku in disguise enacting revenge for all of those little "playful jabs" ttar took at KU throughout the season....that's my theory.😮😂 It was all planned....Ku's gotta be an executive at pokemon.😂

Kieran’s hair really is starting to remind me of Ghetsis in a way. If you put your thumb over half of it, it really seems similar.

I realised the reason lassey used grandbull and whimsicott in the beginning of her battle was to lower attack with the intimidate and lower special attack with light screen to be very defensive I like this strategy

My first capture of Indigo Disk was a shiny Lapras. I wasn’t even shiny hunting, I was just casually exploring, and there it was! Add on to the fact that the battle music is straight up the Gen 5 wild pokemon battle music playing over a shiny Lapras gave me a feeling of ascension!

Hmm, dunno about the dating part. I mean, it certainly could be interesting to have a somewhat romantic subplot in a pokémon story at some point. But in this case, you gotta remember that your player character more is around Kieran's age probably. So would be a weird choice to choose HER as a possible love interest. As for Drayden, pretty sure he's just. Like That. Like he just is very direct and bold, so he just calls the meetup a date for shits and giggles. Especially when you consider he actually invites the other E4 and Kieran to basically force them into meeting you and voting on letting you participate in the league.
