For a lot of Gene Marshall collectors the Mini Gene is the ultimate grail item, sought after and never available or affordable. So what makes this doll more special than every other Gene release that she is much harder to find and much more expensive?
It was wonderful to get hold of one of these dolls and look at some of the things that make her extra special and extra desirable. I love pretty much everything about this 12" lady and am very impressed by the work that went into this spectacular release and the other three dolls in this line who capture the essence of Mel Odom's original Gene doll but reproduce it in smaller scale and with added features and details that really make her an extra special doll who will stand out in any collection. She is without a doubt one of the most beautiful dolls I have looked at.
