I was at Lisa’s memorial and saw the clouds open as it started! What a moment I’ll never forget. I was there for Elvis 88th birthday celebration. Lisa signed my pink Elvis scarf. I was heartbroken of her passing. I told 6 hours from beginning to end at her service and past the memorial garden. I saw Elvis when I was 16 in 76! My sweet Mom is in the Tupelo 56 Elvis picture. I am thrilled to know the demographic has changed to include younger people. That was one of the main points of the awesome movie, ELVIS, to draw in youth and to know the legendary icon who was Elvis. I saw Elvis live in Bloomington, Indiana and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world. Thanks for sharing.

Richard, I saw you in the crowd on the live Memphis stream. You were the tall guy wearing the same hat. Glad you got to go. It had me in tears especially with Jerry's story about Lisa. The backdrop with Graceland was just beautiful and perfect. Poor Austin is heartbroken. He and Lisa got really close over the last several months of her life. I was overwhelmed by the size of the crowd. Very impressive and respectful. ❤️

I was at Graceland last Sunday.. you are right, it’s one of those things that I’d have regretted if I had not gone. Reflecting on it a week later, I still choke up. It was a beautiful service. I’ve always said that November Rain was my song.. my birthday is November 10th.. the song is #10 on the Use Your Illusion I CD. To hear Axl sing it with so much emotion was something I’ll never get to hear again. The entire service was heartbreakingly perfect. Rest easy LMP.. thanks for sharing this.
Thanks for sharing your experience guys. I watched the livestream and then listened to Lisa Marie’s last record. It just seem to fit the day with her voice and melancholy delivery on that record. I was lucky to see Elvis 3 times in 1976. I don’t think Lisa was in attendance at the shows. Thanks again guys. RIP Lisa Marie.

“ Elvis Bug” comes only from Elvis. I am a day one in real time fan. I .first heard Elvis on the radio and only saw him in movie magazines, then television then movies. BUT Our Holy Father answered my prayer and I met Elvis in person. He was around 26 years old and I on my way to 18. Anyway my children and grand children love Elvis. 💕🙃🙂🥰💕

Memphis has been my home for forty-six years and you are right it did go off without a hitch. Thank you for your kind words about Memphis. I did not know Hernando's Hideaway was still alive and well. I went to college in the mid Seventies. You speak as if you have lived here also.

They played it before the service and also after. We were at Hernando’s for about an hour and Ashley with her group came in. We spoke for a few minutes. Very pleasant.

Alot of people walked to the gates at 2am. They didn't wait for the shuttles. 1 youtuber was there at 430am at the gates/sidewalk & there was about 2000 people ahead of him standing in line. Most decided to walk. Then walk up the driveway.
Its sad to have ended that way!!! What if her parents stayed together to be with her as she grew up? That could be another story. But what is done is done!!! We cannot turn back the hands of time!!!
I think alot of people got to see the other side of Axl Rose. A guy who had childhood struggles and suffers badly with manic depression and anxiety. People knock him, but they forget or don't know of his past. The passing of Lisa has quite clearly affected him alot.

You didn't drop the ball because you had already impressed him with your showing up just for the memorial on such a short trip. Giving a compliment to his wife for wardrobe didn't hurt. I think Baz is going to make this happen with all the outtakes and the main reason is probably people like you giving him an idea of what Elvis means to many generations. Plus, why preserve outtakes and do nothing with them, especially when they have the technology to improve.

What do you suppose all the secrecy is about with everyone having to sign non disclosure” forms and LMP allegedly being buried in advance? The family arriving Saturday and the burial happening Thursday? No notices of a funeral at all? Just points of curiosity for me and few EP fans around to discuss it with. I’m a couple Yrs older than you and I remember EP’s funeral in a time with all the social media didn’t exist. But all the info still got out. And with LMP, nothing but crickets. Thoughts??
Elvis and his family have been constantly exploited since the day he signed with Sun. Lisa was a very private persona and very protective of her children. They just wanted some privacy and dignity. Not a circus show. I completely understand what they did and why they did it. I completely agree with what they did. Nothing mysterious about it at all.
I'm in shock Lockwood and his girlfriend were there when he put Lisa through hell for years right up to her death. And wearing fur knowing Priscilla is a staunch animal rights activist.
He is the twins father. Maybe they wanted him there. Lisa stated that one of the girls is a daddy’s girl. I believe he is married, though I could be mistaken.

Not interested in genetic theories that use Gladys doctors daughter 70 years later to recollect what her dad said about Glady's ailments at the time. Good respectful video, it's about celebrating her life, just a real shame she had to experience such tragedy. I've no doubt Ben's death has led her down a dark path.

Oh don't get me started, I am in the uk so watched on the stream, the sound was bad the camera was turned off without warning, I understand the needed private time but the fans watching on stream were barely egknowledged and allowing Sarah furgason to speak was very deviceve given her ex husbands status at this time and she didn't even write a new speech she reused a speech from someone else's funeral
