Pure feminine soul. Untainted by the exaggerated sexuality of today- this performance could be given in Church or heaven. One of my top 10 favorites of all time.
They doing the damn thang. Wanda is a ferocious singer. Didn't know that she had this type of pipes until watching this live video in concert. Unmatched talent on steriods. Simply the baddest female group of their time. Point Blank. Full Stop!
@@anthonytaylor7928 I always was fixated on Shelia who did the lead on "Show Me How" and "Don't ask my Neighbor". I always knew "about" Wanda; but with my eyes so glued on Shelia, I never took the time to truly appreciate the phenomenal natural gifts of Wanda. It's kind of like if a parent sees the gift in one favored child, while the other more quiet child grows up to be the next Einstein or some other great genius. Sometimes we miss it while it was right there all the time. (ps) I'm from the very early 60's so trust me I remember quite well when these young women hit the scene in the 70's. In fact, "So I Can Love You" and another one of their early big hits (while they were still with Isaac Hayes and Stax) "The Best Part of a love Affair" both were actually released in the late 60's as hits. Where were you? Oh Never mind; don't show your age..or lack thereof. Just kidding, my friend.
Dem girls could go. To sing this extremely difficult song at this level which requires superb harmony; and to do it at this incredible pace including keeping up with all the rapid choreographical moves while holding high notes blending simultaneously. Try it at home, it's not easy. You better be in good shape, it will wear you out. WOW!
Just a tad too fast in beat. Can’t understand how these bands can’t remember the original beat when they start the song. Must be down to the drummer. Still an amazing song, even today in 2024!
