I came to this page because i out of no where said let me look up smile by the Emotions, because for some reason i was hearing the words in my head. Also it was my JAM, so I'm listening to it while scrolling down and i see this Emotions "LIFE" new song tag. I couldn't click play fast enough..... I'm so so so very glad that the Smile melody came up in my head, just so that i could find THIS SONG LIFE !!!! I LOVE this song LADIES!!!!! I grew up dancing and singing every word of your songs. This one will be no different. I loved the writing style of your family. Maybe they can write for your new CD, that i hope and pray you all will record. Sence that concert at Chicago's teachers College either 1968 or 69 and on the steps of Parker HS singing commercials, than in 1976 at Kenedy King College lunch room concert you did with your brother on lead guitar right before I went to basic training fort Lenardwood. Then, down on Fort Hood 1977, hearing the Floeers Album, I always kept my ear to your deep soul. My sis Carla Jefferson, who sang too, was in class at Burnside Elementary,with Aloah and Harlan HS. Then we moved, and she transferred to Parker HS and ended up in class either Shiela or Wanda. Later, in 1978, I saw the Ari Crown show. During the 90s , I Saw them at the Black Woman Expo, and in the 2000s WVON 87th Street Park show. My sis passed on, but her recordings of the Emotions were beautiful to hear.

Can,t wait until the next Emotions album to come out. Life love it still have that Great harmony take care be safe. Looking forward to more recordings from you all

The emotions are the baddest female group of all time It's sad to industry doesn't give credit To such fabulous ladies You guys still sound more than great! You Paved the way for a lot of black female artist And others As well You have a very distinctive sail nobody in my opinion really sounds like you Ladies you are simply Badd ass Hell!! My god!

I'm a bit late for commenting, but WOW. The ladies still had everything they always had and more. I know they're not all here with this anymore I know they're not all here with us anymore but Jesus they were some great great musicians and they'll always be appreciated by the likes of myself and probably millions of others for some time to come
