​@@davidteixeira7513Nope. Great in her own right? sure I can give her that. But Chester was a generational voice. The kind of person whose talent only comes once a generation. His lyrics helped a ton of people through their darkest days. His songs in hind sight were a heartfelt cry for help. And his vocal range and control were amazing. I'll wait to judge the new singer until she has a few albums out. But to already say she's better than Chester is kinda ridiculous.

@@dragoonmk4203 He wasn't anything special, and the proof is in the thousands of covers that sing exactly like or even better than him. His vocal control is the bare minimum you'd expect from a singer. The only thing that wins you over is the nostalgia, because it’s from a time when all you knew was how to smoke weed and skateboard. She is definitely better than Chester, and I have no doubt about that.

@@davidteixeira7513 people just need to stop being hateful over the dumbest things in general. In this case, you can still appreciate what he might have stood for for some people and everyone needs to realize that he has passed and sure, by those "some" probably missed. But accept his passing and let him rest. Enjoy his music if u must still. But also accept that the band has always been Mike's regardless of how much Chester had a face on it. Question is whether the music is good or bad, not better or worse. That's the problem with folk. And the music is damn fine! Anyway, just wanted to rant in general about this topic because it is so stupid to me. No matter where I go, people are just horrible about this type of thing and its ridiculous. SO many bands have had band member changes and have decided to either keep or change their name... somehow this is more and a money grab. I guess..
