It's like a mushroom colony here. Seeing the big dead trees, this must have been a forested jungle in the past. It's fun to imagine dinosaurs running around. It's amazing that wind and rain made this landscape. Thank you for watching your great video.

I've never heard about this place before.It's really beautiful. It seems a city lost in the mist of times.i wonder how high the ocean level once was.The dark clouds of sky fits in well with the landscape.Nice video.

The ocean used to cover the entire world. You can find seashells on top of every mountain. Look to the Bible for all of your answers. They are there.

I've watched this video probably 20 times back to back and it is so beautiful of a place ancient volcano mud pots that have left behind some of the most beautiful natural scenes it would be a much better video if it were around 10 hours long and covered every square inch of that place from every angle.

That's exactly right! Hard to believe but for much of it's existence New Mexico has either been on the shore of shallow tropical seas or has actually been completely submerged. That's why it has such wonderful deposits of sandstone, shale, and limestone. You'd never guess looking at it now :D

If you go here their is a fantastic chance you will be there by yourself. I google the directions was in the middle of the desert. Miles from anything in my van. You’re eventually on a gravel road snd then it tells you to turn on a non existent road with a no trespassing sign. I went all that way and didn’t see them. It’s all just crazy. The drive out was surreal. The desert so massive out that way it was just to risky to keep searching. I had to be near it.

I have some swing of the geology but this is an unusual site, the lowest layer appears to be much softer and subject to wind erosion more so that the higher layers. Great stuff, perfect horizon lines and as sharp as a razor blade.

What an interesting place! You get the feeling that a lot has happened here before "we" came along to see it. Thank you, again, for bringing those enchanting views to us. BTW, I'm learning how to use my Crane 2 with my AX100 to get good motion control. Besides gimbal actions, you get some Sony camera control too; start/stop and zoom.

hm, is it easy and natural, or a lot of effort? I just got dji osmo pocket for some walking situations, will see how it works ...

Pocket is a good choice but has a small sensor. The Crane2/AX100 combination is heavy and bulky by comparison. I built a padded shoulder bag to carry the combo all assembled, ready to whip out and shoot. You just can't beat the Sony image quality, zoom, exposure controls, etc. I'll look forward to shots from your Pocket in upcoming videos. I think it will be most useful for close-ups.

I am not sure yeat I will be using in the videos, but for some moving scenes it might be helpful, at least it does not take any space :)
