There's been a small change of plans... We have a prank caller at the telephone company. Why don't you go there and see if you can 'talk some sense' with him. You know what I mean. 342nd NW street. Go there now! Floor it. ... *click*
We were close to a hotline miami movie but of course executive medling happen (one which was to not have animal mask which defeats purpose of the game series and they are iconic.) All we know what the movie might be about is unknown but it would be very very gorey and violent like games
On that day, the threads of all their lives met upon the loom of creation. A hundred million lines of silken time, brought together and cut into the first fabric of atoms and stardust. Every teardrop shed, every cry, everywhere, all at once, brought together that they might touch the sun
We knew that the world would not be the same... Few people laughed... Few people cried... Most people were silent... I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, Bhagavad Gita... Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty... And... To impress him... Takes on his multi-armed form, and says... "Now I have become Death, destroyer of worlds..." I suppose we all thought about that one way or another...
После видео с Ядерным грибом под You Are The Blood я про себя подумал, что было бы классно если бы было еще видео в таком же формате, но с композицией Untitled. Что ж, я рад, что оно появилось))) Очень атмосферно !
This gives me the vibes of someone surviving the odds, and with bit of determination moves forward just a little bit more. Maybe the person will wake up again after a grooling battle with exhaustion, or finally gets to rest with everyone else.
This game changed me in ways I can't really put into words. Fundamentally. Existentially. The first time I finished it, I was frozen in place after the credits as the main menu came back. Idk if anything has ever reached into me like that. One of the best experiences ever.
This game was a wild ride, wish to see it adapted as a movie or an animated series someday. It was sadly condemned for it's get shot from the other side of the map mechanics but the story was really engaging. Devs went crazy with it
Слушать это под новости наводящие на мысли о третьей мировой... Определённо невесёлый экспириенс. Хотя бы уйду не один в таком случае. Вставьте сюда ту самую цитату из концовку HM2
Richard: Looks like you've gotten yourself quite comfortable over here. You know what they say about good times, don't you? Richter: Yeah. [...] Good times never last. Richard: That's right. Soon this will all be over. Richter: I had a feeling things would catch up with me. [...] Are they onto me? Richard: Oh, no. This... This is much worse. Richter: How long do I have? Richard: You? You don't have much time. No one does. Richter: There's nothing I can do about it, right? Richard: No. By now there's nothing anyone can do about it. Richter: Okay. No need to fight it then. Richard: I'm glad you understand. [...] Leaving this world is not as scary as it sounds.
Man that's such a good job you've done, it looks (but more importantly feels) so good and accurate to the style and feel of the source game, huge respect
И во всём этом чувствуется какое то умиротворение, какой-то покой. Как будто с исчезновением людей на этой планете, весь этот кошмар всё насилие наконец-таки закончится...
I really think the nuclear Holocaust is the rapture what's the difference between your soul being carried up to God and when do you look out your window and there's a bright light and then you're in heaven and so is everyone you know either way your soul is carried up to God
This is so sad. Like, when did the creators of this games thought: "Hey, let's end this games with a bad ending where everyone dies!" Like, was it really necessary to end this duology with this... Crimson ending!? Like, every people in there also died in the explosion, so basically... *EVERYONE DIED. THE END* So i repeat. Was it necessary to end this wild ride duology like this? With a crimson ending that only the mad people would think on? I think not... *WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!?*
They set out to end a series and they did just that. Sticking with the nihilistic themes of both games, I see it as a rather fitting end. There are no loose ends, everyone’s story arcs are all wrapped up in an ironically tragic end as nothing they did really mattered.
That was exactly the point of the game. A world, filled with violence and constant fighting, people exposing their animal predatory nature and hurting others. The nuke was a chery on top of that. The apotheosis of violence, the moment, humans want to win against someone so bad they will even nuke the whole world to come out on top of others, neglecting the prices that come with that. Hell, the current situation is the perfect example of that, when politicians already talk about nuclear warfare. We ARE living in the world of Hotline Miami. There is no peaceful end to the human race....
It was thematically necessary. It shows that a life of violence can only end in one way. If you pay attention, the story hinted at this ending since the first game
