I dunno man, I made this in a day. Just for the record, this isn't a hitpiece on Ian Flynn or anything. I don't agree with a lot of his recent writing choices, but he seems like a chill guy who doesn't deserve the hate he gets.
Lol, but what Ian Flynn specifically said was that The End was monologuing *because* it was full of itself. Not because the end was a push over, they destroyed countless stars and planets, is the second strongest foe Sonic has ever faced after Solaris (which puts it above TimeEater and Erazor Dijin who both can erase/destroy Universes at their best) and are confirmed to be a manifestation of death itself.
I mean, technically Sonic has not faced Solaris if we're going by what happens in the series. So The End would be the strongest, especially since Sonic required a buff to Super Sonic in order to deal with it.
Thank you! I mean, if you have seen many godlike beings in every media, sometimes they would be full of themselves. The end is no different. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it became the replacement for Solaris in Silver's future.
It's amazing how a lot of people got The End's statement wrong. He is infinite, he cannot be denied and no matter what form he takes, the end comes for all. He is saying this not by saying that he will return, but by saying it as a concept, the concept of the end and undeniable, one day, all things have come to their end, and he at this moment is just an avatar for it. It doesn't matter how it happens or when it happens. The end comes to all things
@@tailsfan11westandwithukraine only for the final horizon update to completely shit on the original Ending and render Sage even more useless than she already was.
Loved the game, the finale and the boss (even with Flynn comment that to me seems like a transcription wrong o a misunderstanding with jp team) BUT THAT’S HILARIOUS! 😂
Ian is capable of writing great stuff when he has good people around him, but the more he has to do by himself the worse off he is (see Sonic other M for a perfect example).
archie sonic and IDW had him with other writers and artist who aslo evated hes work like tracy yardly. ians just a guy and everything he writes isnt ALL him. but he is talented for sure but everyone needs help
Wait I didn’t see that! Sonic other m was a fan comic he made when he was my age wtf- that’s not a good example. I do have some porblems with Ian’s writing (in Sonic frontiers) but I think that’s mainly because of sega same for idw. When Ian’s free to write whatever he wants you get arichie and that was a masterpiece and easily my favorite versions of those characters. He made them feel real and flawed while Aslo keeping stories fresh and exciting each new time. I just miss that era of sonic and seems we might be getting it back.
Sonic kills other Eldridge horrors. "And we're done here nothing else to see." Sonic kills the end "nooooooo! It can't die it has to be it's way to live through 5000 games waaaaaaah!!!!"
I don't think the problem is the end dying, it's the fact that such a neat concept with tons of potential was just...forgotten about. And the fact that all fan speculation was shut down is lame. I'm not saying it HAS to come back, but to completely shut down the idea that it could is disappointing.
@@PixelrushTheFunnyPixelManNot to mention it's objectively one of the most important entities in the lore of the series, it's responsible for the chaos emeralds being on Sonic's planet, reducing it down to just another "monster of the week" is immensely dissapointing on the writers' part.
@@PixelrushTheFunnyPixelManNo one forgot about it, what're you talking about? And who ever said a word about The End not coming back? It's clear as day that it isn't dead and the intention to bring it back in a future game was there from the release of Frontiers.
I hate youtube kids, It made the sonic and shadow Christmas video in RU-vid. Kids just because it's sonic related. I hate youtube kids, But I love the people who do amazing work for sonic as a whole.
Ian Flynn the writer has gone on record to say the end is not coming back and that it was gassing itself up about being the concept of death and order and was just another monster in space.
@@DarkShadowX9 That's fair. But still, the concept of a space fight along with Sentinel is a lot more epic. But it was ruined by making this a minigame.
@user-xq4sj5ln9z Agreed, it should've been a Super Sonic fight or both, but in two separate phases.. like in Unleashed. Sage (Supreme) would be playable in Phase 1 and Super Sonic.. Phase 2.
The finale wasn't lame, just a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the fights in the game. It was still a cool finale and the DLC 100% fixed that and cranked it up. The Final Horizon one is phenomenal and making fun of it for having a cord of energy connecting to Supreme is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard lmao. Sit down.
As much laugh I have with The End being a moon or it’s another one time villain but it’s such a disappointed opportunity. You have a name The End now you’re saying this entity, the manifestation of death itself is now gone for good? And this whole intrigue scary monologue is just for show. What why that doesn’t make sense! You can’t destroy death you can only delay it . Yeah sure the design and original gameplay sucks but it doesn’t have to be a moon it could be like some random planetoid like every other cosmic horror. The End is literally a nothing void abyss while the chaos emeralds are elements of creation cmon it had something going :(
Ian Flynn ruining the character of Fiona Fox in his sickening truth of the heart comic, slandering his customers on twitter, lying to his fans several times, asking his followers to attack his opponents online, etc, he definitely deserves so much hate, and plus, I made a video about him, as well.
omg this is SO TRUE. Imagine creating a villain that can always come back with a different form of death, the possibilities ARE ENDLESS. Then saying that "lmao it was just an egoist rock really"
And they are, its form is ever changing. This is just one of its forms, it's an incomprehensible being. Stop acting like everything has to have some complex design. It takes the form of what whoever sees it perceives death to look like. This was all confirmed by the director.
@@chrange9714they’re not talking about what it looks like, they’re talking about how the end is a villain which isn’t a being, it’s a concept that acts on its own accord. But somehow, a being that LITERALLY represents the inevitable end of all things just got offed before having its unique concept be explored like nothing (kinda like Infinite)
@@ezdj08 It didn't get offed. No one has ever said The End is dead and will never return. Neither has Infinite died or won't be explored any further in a future game, the director literally confirmed that Infinite returning is a possibility at some point.
@@chrange9714 ok infinite coming back is new knowledge I will admit that but the encylspeedia said infinite died in forces and Ian Flynn has said on twitter and the bumblecast that the end was dead or at least there aren’t any plans to bring it back. New information can correct me but as far as I know canonically, the end is dead
Flynn's The End likes to talk the talk, in lame cliché villain lies, but can't walk the walk. Give me the force of nature that is Japanese The End any of the week, and bring back the Japanese writers while you're at it.
Hello Pixelrush, my name is Fabrício, I'm from the Fabrício Soares channel, I would like to ask for permission to dub your RU-vid videos into Brazilian Portuguese.
Thank god they retconned this. My problem was less that they made The End weaker, and more that they wanted you to assume The End was lying despite there being zero reason to do so, and literally nothing implying they were lying. "Oh if it was the concept of Death how did Sonic kill it" the fucking Belmonts do that shit every other Tuesday, we're used to that level of anime bullshit by now.
