This is it, the end of a saga, and my love letter to the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Since I finished Future Redeemed, I have been working on this video, giving my utmost effort to pay the tribute it deserves. If you know someone who loves Xenoblade Chronicles and has played all the games, please share the hype! I don't have Twitter, Facebook, or any of these social media platforms, so you would do me a massive favor if you could help spread the word. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy this video :) Thank you for being here.
Well, now that monolith soft has finished the main saga, maybe they should do a remaster or a sequel to the long forgotten Xenoblade Chronicles X, so that they don't forget it and give this marginalized and underrated spiritual sequel the fame and recognition it deserves, or maybe make a new version of xenogears for the switch.
This is a fantastic tribute to a truly GOATed series! Cleanly edited, and manages to capture the spirit and major themes of the series too. Seriously great stuff
If I had to choose between the Xenoblade series or the entirety of other gaming franchises to play for the rest of my days, its Xenoblade with a doubt. Thanks for this touching tribute to the greatest franchise of all time, regardless of medium. I can’t wait to see what the future brings but its hard to believe anything can live up to this saga. PS: LOVE them all but Xeno2 is my GOAT.
Heeeey! :D Thank you for giving it a watch! I just saw the reaction on Twitch and i'm really glad to see that you enjoyed the tribute video! (And i'm sorry for not including engage the enemy lol). I really tried my best to make it a good one though c: On another note, people told you in chat that i mentioned you in another video. That one being my "2.0 Version" of the "Never played Xenoblade Chronicles? Watch this" video. Which is intended as a trailer for the whole Series. Especially for people that haven't played the games or heard of them at all. (And i loved all your playthroughs btw, so i simply had to implement you in the intro bit haha) Feel free to check it out aswell if you want! :)
@SarahKey i cried watching this too. I fell so much in love with this series. Im also a fan and sub of your work. Keep up the good work, and PLEASE rest when you need to. Please dont push yourself too hard❤
Operation Rainfall should be a reminder what could happen if you actually listen to fans and are willing to risk something. Mr. Takahashis vision and the never ending cycle of work and improvement from Monolith soft should be a reminder what you can reach if you never give up. The struggles, themes and accomplishments of the adventures our characters contain and which they overcome should be a reminder what you can reach if you move on and are willing to change.
@@lhyster8761Agreed. Xenoblade is a work of art. If we are to measure art by the people it can touch, and how powerfully it can touch them, then this series is a masterpiece ranking among those centuries old pieces still lovingly played and viewed to this very day. And may it last forever
Glad that the amount of work that went into that, was worth it at the end. I was scared that i would mess up putting pretty much 6 games into... well... 15 Minutes ^^ But i'm proud of what came out! So, thank you! :D
@@SparksOpus I have been with the series since I saw Chuggaconroy play it. I have owned almost every xenoblade chronicles game aside from the original wii version, but I got the 3DS remaster and played it there and the switch version later so I have experienced them all and I can't wait to see what is in store next for the xeno series (hoping for a xenoblade/saga crossover or something).
Thats by far the best JRPG-Series i ever played. So much memorys, emotions and good feelings. I'm glad to played it all. I'm glad Ninendo uplifted the fans and released the game in Europe and America. Thanks Nintendo, thanks Monoloth for this masterpiece! I hope the series continues with a completely new chapter or saga. PS: Great tribute video to this amazing series :)
I don't know how many times I've seen this now. Maybe 10, maybe 12, I'm not sure. All I can say is that this series has changed my life, and it has become my favourite series of all time. I want to thank you for making these great videos Thank you, truly.
To think none of this would have been possible without the Operation Rainfall supporters...thank you all annonymous heroes and you sir for this wonderful love letter to this wonderful saga.
Never in my life, will I ever be able to thank them enough, Takahashi, and everyone that worked on the games, the music, the character designs, the areas, everything within these experience. Truly, what a time to be alive and to have been able to experience these games. Monolithsoft will forever be the creators of peak media.
An epic send-off for an epic trilogy. But this is not truly the end, is it? There are still heights to reach, secrets to be revealed, and stories to be told. This is not the end, but a new beginning. And this video is an amazing way to transition to the next part of this story.
its 4am and now I REALLY want to play Xenoblade 1 after that 2:07 - 3:15 Xenoblade 2 after that 3:53 - 4:30 Xenoblade 3 after that 9:16 - 9:53 3:53 hit me right in the feels. but nothing is better than 5:07
It suprises me so much to be here. Three games, three dlc adventures. I initially avoided the games because of their art style (probably like most,) then one day I tried the definitive edition. One of my favorite games i've ever played. Of course, its obvious what came next. While I do have problems with two and i tthree, they were still incredible compared to most games I owned. The series really showed me how amazing you can make a story. The games got me into philosophy, nature, expanded my already intese love of fantasy. It wouldn't be a stretch to say these games changed my direction in life. They mean so much to me and so many others, which is why i'm giving the comment the length it deserves. Thank you, xenoblade, and to you, who took the time to read this.
I've only been a fan of Xenoblade for the last 2 years. However, the time I spent with Xenoblade 2 and Xenoblade 3 is something I will never forget. Thank you for making this tribute.
I hope you enjoyed Part 1 just as much in the meantime. Of all of them, this part still has the best story for me and has never let me go from this series to this day :)
I’m late but uh, I finished this absolutely amazing trilogy just a few days ago. I cannot describe how incredibly special it is and how much I adore and care for it. Beautiful, my life wouldn’t be the same without it, I mean that. Thank you Monolith for making these masterpieces and thank you for making this masterful tribute.
Choosing the music was almost the most frustrating part of creating this video lmao So much to choose from... and also making it flow well... But hey, turned out pretty solid at the end ^^
I thought the credits for FR was already a slap to the face for all the moments we experienced from 1 up until 3 but here you put out all the moments magnificently! the timing of the quotes, music and scenes used are perfect!! saving this as favourite just in case I needed a tear or two for the wonderful experience this game has given me and it was all because someone sold XB2 cheap at facebook and never once I regretted investing my time to this franchise. Thank you Monolith Soft for how you presenting your games as well as how involved they are with Nintendo's other games. as Pyra said "I love this world because you're in it" in this case that "you're" is Xenoblade Chronicles
I know it’s a pretty common way to get into Xenoblade, but I’m really glad Shulk coming to Smash Bros got me into this amazing series. Seeing an older Shulk in Future Redeemed got me hyped as well as seeing him take after Dunban’s fighting style.
I was in my first year of highschool when xenoblade 1 released (EU), now i have a college degree. It's been such an amazing experience being able to play these amazing games. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for both myself, and this series that means so much to me.
What a spectacular Saga these games have been. The end of Futurre Redeemed left me in tears. This was a beautiful love letter to the life changing experience of this story
I just finished the video, and I’ve got tears in my eyes. Future Redeemed is still fresh in my mind. Even so, this video made me feel the weight behind every single step of this journey all over again. Thank you so much for this video, Sparks.😊
What a wild ride these 6 games have been, I'll never forget the memories I've gained and the feeling of playing these games for the first time. Xenoblade is truly something special, its beautifully written, has amazing characters, fantastic worlds, and incredible endings. These games have proven their worth and that they're not just some typical waifu fan service game, 3 was able to go as high as being nominated for game of the year. I'll always cherish the memories and feelings these games have given me, these truly have been *The Xenoblade Chronicles...*
This is video truly represents why I love Xenoblade so MUCH. LITERALLY GOT ME TEARING UP AT THE END 😭 Thank you for this amazing masterpiece of a video!! ❤️❤️❤️ The love I have for this series is so hard to put into words but this video right here does it for me 😭
I got into the series when Definitive Edition came out, and my friend was bouncing off the walls ever since the announcement. I'd heard some vague praises about Xenoblade 1, largely that of being one of the Wii's hidden gems, as well as vaguely knowing about Project Rainfall back when it happened. I didn't expect to fall so thoroughly in love with a game like I had, I thought my friend was overselling the experience. I started by emulating the original, but once I reached the Fallen Arm (you can probably guess which scene finally sold me) I caved and bought DE and 2. I played both versions back to back, and came out a changed man. Then, I cautiously pressed on to playing 2, knowing about the flaws in the game's presentation, keeping an open mind. 2 managed to deliver just as enthralling an experience as 1, although I must say the emotional range was a lot wider, for both base 2 and Torna. For a while I waited, as I knew *something* was in the works, hoping for the eventual 3. And eventually, it delivered. Everything that worked about both games was on full display in 3, and with the slickest, smoothest, most accessible gameplay to date. Future Redeemed capped off the trilogy so wonderfully. It further patched questions regarding 3, iterated upon Shulk and Rex in meaningful and interesting ways, and further evolved the message of the game. All in all, these games have resonated with me in ways that almost nothing else has. I'll forever be grateful to everyone involved; artists, programmers, voice actors, etc. While nobody can be sure quite what the future holds, I know that whatever is in store, it will continue to even higher glory still. I can see it, clear as day.
Damn, this was amazing, I daresay this is the best Xenoblade montage ever. Thank you very much for this work, everyone in Xenoblade community must see this.
What an awesome video! I love getting chills from this series. Also, every time I see Rex, Shulk, and A walking into Origin telling the party to get them, I'm always screaming in my head "DON'T WORRY, I GOT YOU!"
That was phenomenal. An amazing sendoff for a beloved franchise. You can tell that this was a passion project crafted with true love and care. Thank you.
This is the best tribute video I've seen in a long time. Well done my friend, truly. Thanks for the rush of emotion and memories, gotta love the xenoblade series
What an amazing Video. I hope somedays we will get Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch and after that Monolith will make a whole Story about the world of Xenoblade Chronicles X
What a grand supercut. You condensed every joy that this series has graced me with. Looking back on why I bothered in the first place, of the misplaced jealousy I harbored over Smash Bros, I want to go back in time and deck myself across the face for being too stupid to comprehend what kind of miracle I had sitting in front of me, of being too myopic to see what horizons this was going to open up for everything that I pined for. Truly, I had a "Paul on the road to Damascus" moment in probing Xenoblade, and I can only attribute mercy to the fact that it didn't bear down me so hard.
seeing this as my favorite video game franchise come to an end it’s sad but meaningful. sence I got xenoblade 3d on my 15th birthday, my life changed forever on how I see the meaning of life. Now at 22 years old I’ll say, arigato takahashi for an incredible ride! I’ll always treasure this franchise right in my heart.
That was beautiful, thank you. It feels like it was yesterday when I was playing Xenoblade on the Wii, time has passed and now here we are, at the end of a amazing saga. Here's to whatever Monolith Soft makes in teh future.
What a beautifully edited tribute SparksOpus, the grande finale hit me hard in the feels! I'll really miss the Xenoblade Chronicles series, but we got such a satisfying ending as everything came full circle, it's incredible how far we have come and I appreciate every single step we took along the way!!
This was fucking beautiful. What a wonderful series. What a wonderful experience it has been playing these games and being part of this community. Whether we're crying at Chapter 5 of XC3, or morphing Reyn into a delicious hard candy, I am proud to call myself a Xenoblade fan. This series means so much to me, and all who've played it through. Thank you for making this, but..... WhErE's X?¿?¿?
What a beautiful video. This video summarises exactly why this heart-felt, tear-jerking series means so much to me, and to so many others. Thanks for making it, cant wait to see what else the xeno series has in store for us.
I wish I could express my love for this series, during the credits for Future redeemed I cried out of joy, it was like having all my past experiences throughout the series come flooding back, What a beautiful conclusion, thank you MONOLITHSOFT
Me: “This isn’t just some physical strength. This strength comes from the heart and I will use it to cut a path to the future , but I won’t do it alone. The people I’ve traveled with the bonds that we forged they too will carry that strength and together we will challenge fate, seize our destiny and live to see tomorrow that is my role in this WORLD!”
These have truly been the Xenoblade Chronicles, and i loved every goddamn second of it. Onward friends towards our chosen horizons, into the future we've fought so hard for.
The amount of chills I felt in this It has certainly been a wild 10 years since I started the original up to this point. Cannot believe it's gotten to where it's at now.
That was so beautiful!!! Got pretty teary eyed while watching it. Xenoblade is so special to me am I'm so glad that I've been following this series for almost a decade.
I don't usually leave comments, but in this case I had to. Thank you for honoring the series with such a great video. The scene and music choice, the quotes and the editing are simply fantastic. The last stretch killed me, I jumped from goosebumps to tears back and forth. I'll be watching this again in the future from time to time. See you at the far edge of time (or when the next game drops)
And i thank you for leaving such a lovely comment :) Let me tell you that i was really scared to make that video, because of how ambitious that idea was. And also me, not doing the Series Justice! I haven't done such a massive video before! Also, i wanted to put them into less then 10 Minutes. But i realised it wouldn't get the love i wanted to give it. So i made preparations even before XC3FR released and after finishing FR, cut that video nonstop for... nearly 2 weeks? Cutscenes, Music (choosing and mixing them was a pain aswell lmao), voicelines, ingame shots and whatnot... For pretty much 6 games. And i was NERVOUS when it went live. Because it also ended up being longer than 14 Minutes. Is the chosen music good? The transitions optimal? The voicelines position good placed? And the audio-level compared to the music? What about Soundeffects? A lot went through my head. But all these comments that people left...? I'm. So. Damn. Glad. Just that people liked it. I'm genuinly really happy about it. So, once again, thank you for the nice comment :) And of course will you see me for more Xeno-stuff in the future :D Most definitly!
The work in this video is superb! Its like all the memories and emotions playing from xenoblade 1 until Future Redeemed came rushing all at once! The music was spot on and the emotional moments of each game was there. Thank you for this and thank you to OpRainfall and Monolith Soft for the best game series ever!
I played Xenoblade 3 without any expectations. I heard the praise and good reviews but still no expectations at all. I loved it beginning to end. The game improved as I kept playing and that ending was beautiful
Ooooh come on now c: I've been editing on this PC for slightly over...7 Months now? There is still quite some room to grow ^^ But i'm really happy to hear you thinking that! Thank you!!
Today I finally finished the Future Redeemed dlc, after a few months of telling myself “It’s just not the time, I don’t want to end this, I don’t want to experience the finale right now because that would mean I won’t play Xenoblade Chronicles anymore”, but then I realized it wasn’t fair, and I did play it. Now I feel like a big door has closed behind me, but that’s okay, because of the feelings these games gave me, because of the place now they occupy in my heart. That said, I saw this video on my RU-vid home some months ago, and I told myself I would watch it when I finished everything, and here we are. Thank you for this, it shows perfectly the love every one of us who played Xenoblade feels about these games, so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the effort you put into this.
Welcome to the other side :) Thank you for this comment! The end of FR definitely hit hard... But don't worry, our journey hasn't ended just yet :D More XC will come in the future! And from what we've heard, it'll still include some of the previous characters!
I was 15 when I played X as my first ever Xenoblade game. Before that I had never played a game that was as expansive as that; it really opened up my mind on what a game could be. Excited to see what's in the future of the series.
Well, you did it. This is probably the best video on Xenoblade I have seen. I love the themes you choose and the placement of them, excellent tribute to a franchise that will always hold a special place in my heart.
WOW. This video deserves millions of views. Its a perfect encapsulation of the saga. Thanks for your hard work, this was absolutely amazing. Made me tear up a bit!
This was such an incredible video, got goosebumps and cried a little throughout it all. Its sad to think its over but thank you for creating something to remember it by.
Im totally speechless!! I even cried watching this video, Without a doubt I can say that Xenoblade games are my favorites! Amazing job putting this video together!
