Thiero was the most physical player UK had in the paint on offense and defense. He should've been playing way more than Wagner and Edwards but got less playing time. I hate to see him leave UK but i can't blame him if he doesn't want to play for Cal again.

If he leaves, that'll be another player (Juzang) that will go somewhere else(with an actual coach not a pimp) and help the team, if anyone thinks Cal meant what he said about changing, or meant whatever he said to AD Barnhardt, it's delusions of grandeur, he's old, he's rich, he's and egomaniac, and he will do exactly what he's been doing, running a developmental league on UK and BBN's tab. bet.

Big loss for Kentucky, but given Calipari's model, it makes sense he would go elsewhere. This just emphasizes the screwed up playing model at Kentucky and why they will never win another championship with Calipari at the helm. Very sad for Kentucky fans.

I think Adou is making a big mistake. Calipari has been grooming him for greatness. He had a good year but next year would have been a super year for Adou. To transfer now is highly unlikely to put him in a better spot. Not all coaches have such a desire to get their players to the next level as does John Calipari. Plus, learning a new system takes time. The portal is for players to have a chance to move up, not down. No college team has a better program to develop players for the NBA. I wish Adou well if he leaves, but I strongly believe he is hurting himself by transferring.

He is a good player but not great. KY fans fall in love with average players and then want to blame the coach when the shit hits the fan. Players want to flex on their social media accounts and the puss out during the games. Let me give all of you simple folks an example. Let's say you meet a girl, fall in love, get married, and then have kids. But for the last 2 years, she's been cheating on you. You married her. She's the one you picked, but it's not working out. Who's the blame? The moral of the story is, that sometimes things don't work out. And then you have to move on. I also believe that Cal has to change because college basketball is changing. The one-and-done players are not good enough anymore. They are too young and selfish. No fundamentals, no heart, just popcorn.

Adou isn’t for sure out yet. Don’t buy everything you hear. This is gonna be a common thing now going forward. Kids are gonna test the draft combine, search for more money opportunities then decide. I think he’ll get drafted in the second round and enter the draft. Plus, he’s not playing over Knox. His minutes will decrease

Why would anyone want to go to the Cats under dinosaur Calpari today? Calpari should leave before he totally destroys the program and goes downs as the worst coach in UK history. Barnhart is letting him do it and the Board of Regents is letting Barnhart get away with this. Is there no leadership in Kentucky left?

Anyone who leaves is making a better decision for themselves. I wish Adieu would stay. My options for the freshmen staying are limited because most of them lack defensive skills and or poor shooting abilities or inconsistent. Coach Cal needs a few of the freshmen to come back but he needs to hit the transfer portal to add players who can help the team with some defensive ability. I’m still not convinced that Coach Cal should return or retire or leave.

I find it very odd. He is a central piece and is just now starting to blossom. He would be in a perfect spot to showcase himself. The thing that makes the most sense is that he's not a fan of Cal. Not throwing blame just guessing. What else would make more sense?

Cal gave a decent player a chance at a high profile program. If he thinks he can do better, nothing wrong with that. No reason to believe any high profile team is salivating at the chance to have him as an addition to their squad.

I hate that, I guess he figures on not getting enough time? He was the best/strongest driver we had. Now he is the biggest and strongest he has ever been. He is also exactly what we are saying we want more of, experienced player who has been in the big situations. If he goes to the right team where the coach knows how to use him he will be a monster before he is done. I think he could end up being another PJ Washington but with more driving ability!

I wish they would all leave and then maybe the AD would get the hint that he should have canned Calipari before he completely ruined the program.
