As you get older and have taken so many hits to the head, well, you just can't anymore. I quit boxing at 25 cause of the broken hands and getting hit in the head, causing headaches for weeks, even months at times. I still like to stay in shape at 42, but my boxing days are long gone.

100%. Love Volkanovski but his Rugby League career, and the amount of fights he was competing in, has taken it's toll. Tony Ferguson is a prime example of a great fighter not knowing when to quit. Hope you're doing well!

Conor isn't even the same person anymore. Quite literally. Not only is his era gone, but he appears to be gone as well. Usman is still here, and he's going to win big in his next one. He's too big, too athletic, and too cringe to lose anymore fights. And this new era is actually better. We have Dricus, and Tom Aspinall, which are a million times better on the microphone than the guys before them (Adesanya and Stipe Miocic). So what's the problem with this current era? Dana White is now ruining the UFC with a strange agenda of only promoting 3 people in the entire UFC. He promotes Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, and barely Sean O'Malley. Dana is actively blocking people, saying disparaging things about all the fighters on the roster, ruining Tom Aspinall's career, failing to compliment Dricus properly, and just being a miserable drain on the entire sport.

Dana does not only promote 3 people he likes Jon cause he makes him money who cares abt that if you really like mma you don’t gaf abt what’s going on with the promotion portion of the sport what you should really worry abt is that fact there is many good things going on in the ufc. We have amazing champions just look at ilia and Islam those guys are the most skilled mfs in the world, also I think you young fellas just haven’t seen how mma goes thru changes back when Royce Gracie and those jiu jitsu experts first came over they destroyed everyone and everyone was scared that no one could ever handled them and look now every single person knows jiu jitsu and is amazing at it, the same will happen for wrestling here soon it’ll just be a necessity that everyone learns early so don’t go cry and hate the sport just because you don’t love it the way we do

Ive seen it happen so many times. Been watching since I wa a kid. Chuck, Randy, Anderson, Fedor, BJ etc.. everyone meets their end. These current superstars were at one point, the new generation that picked up the torch from the previous legends I mentioned. Now we are witnessing another change of the guard. This sport is still INCREDIBLY young compared to other mainstream sports like soccer, football, boxing etc.. and the heights it can reach and the levels of talen we will witness in our lifetimes are almost limitless.

Didn't even mention he came in off like 1 week short notice to fight a boogyman UP A WEIGHTCLASS in a 3 round fight, when his last 7-10 fights were all 5 round main events. He looked way better going into the 3rd, and the majority of people watching agree that he likely would have won a 5 rounder... Will not be returning here if you are willing to just gloss over that much critical information so easily😂

I enjoyed very few of these fighters outside the ring. And the JJ thing, regardless of what Dana says, is always going to be debated. Show me another sport where an athlete can fail a drug test every three years and still be participating. Not taking anything from his skill but that many failures means you have given yourself an advantage. Criticize, don’t care. Have a great day.

I'm sad for sure all these dudes are right around my age and I know their times are up. Hopefully new guys will grow on me. Even Alex being new to ufc he's only a six months younger than me (37) and he knows he won't be here for years. But I immediately liked him. But the last decade of notable fighters are going to be sorely missed and they're all about the age to be done. I hope Tony Ferguson somehow gets a miracle win and retires if not just retires straight out. However this video feels so AI and just hollow. Hopefully a channel does this better.

That fight is like the GSP v Hendricks fight - I need to watch it back to see if I still think what I thought at the time. Love GSP but, at the time, I wasn't sure he had won it. However, when I watched it back, he clearly did.
