Anna came in so clutch with the last minute dress alteration 🤗 Thank you guys so much for making our time at Le Fleur absolutely PERFECT. It was so lovely meeting you all and hanging out!! Enjoy Italy so deserving!
The wedding still feels like a magical dream! Thank you so much for the unbelievable hospitality, excited for your new chapter 💛 Enjoy Italy and whatever wild adventure you're up to next!
This was incredibly bizarre, having watched yourself through Skating, Sara for the photography and creative work, and the Chateau for the build, a bit surreal actually
What!! I can’t believe Sara Dietschy got married in YOUR chateau! It’s like these two worlds colliding. Crazy and congrats to both parties for such a beautiful event!
I got a little choked up as you waved goodbye to your last guests. It was a very good plan to leave town on vacation before you start the next chapter. And, I might add, I'm so glad you didn't choose to abandon the youtube channel. And I can be certain I'm not the only none who's happy about that. Have a marvelous holiday! You've earned it.
Yes, all that wendy said. Those moments of goodbye to something good are a bit heartrending but I know great joy will come from more time with the girls.
I watch from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and I agree quality content and chemistry with stars you can't force it flows naturally. My hole family including my 98 yr old grandmother loves and enjoys your
Now a retired flight attendant (from the USA), watching you drive from France, through Switzerland and into Italy brings back many happy memories of Normandy, Paris, Zurich, Rome and Venice. Seems like it was all a dream now. So happy for your family to be creating happy memories. The scenery is stunning! Have fun! 🥰
Thank you so much for taking us on your journey to Italy. For many of us, we will never be able to travel those beautiful European roads and see all the incredible scenery. I can hardly wait until you continue your travels and take us along with you. Thank you so very much!
my heart just jumped a little when you drove past our village of Vauvillers, where my family and I have our second home. So unexpected to see you in such a place!!! I wish you all great and (despite family) relaxing vacations. Greetings from switzerland
Yes absolutely a wonderful experience to watch the scenery of countries I’ll never see go by with you all. Nothing like revisiting your roots. Happy holidays, you deserve the break. 👏🏼🇦🇺
I'm with Ziggy: I would not have survived those hairpin turns without barfing. I'm so excited for your adventure in Italy (being of Italian descent myself!).
Since you guys are not hosting guests anyways right now I vote for you to renovate your own apartment next, after all you have to live there all day for quite some time.. Would love to see you turn your space into a nice home for yourselves!
Can't wait for the next installment of Italy! It's so beautiful there and Switzerland, is wonderful too. Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday with the girls and Ziggy. Hope he gets used to the car and isn't sick again. Have fun!! (from Sandi)
Love seeing the views of other countries towns and villages. Can’t wait to see Phillip’s mum and where he grew up. Enjoy your holiday, it’s much deserved.
This was a very wonderful video with so much emotion… I can’t imagine Phillip how Difficult it was for you and Anna both (?) to edit this last film video with the closing of one door and the opening of another door of the chapter of your life… The wedding was so spectacular even though it was intimate and personal it was so lovely and that they could have it at your Château was even more spectacular💕❣️❣️💍❣️❣️ Saying goodbye to your Dear friend who had been a second hand in so much of what happened in The guest house to end the entertaining and so much more that we don’t even know about but those type of people are forever in our Gratitude and forever a dear friend… As my granddaughters and I say “it’s NOT goodbye, it’s until next time”😊♥️ And then leaving on your new Journey back to Italy and getting to see it for the first time in years had to be very emotional for you Philip and I thank you for sharing it with us. I have always wanted to go to Italy in fact my son and I were just talking about our bucket list and he was surprised that Ilie was where I wanted to go… not because I’m a connoisseur of wine, but a connoisseur of the beauty of the land in the wind orchards and the Tuscany colors, and it the warmth of the sun that I imagine Hits you in the face on a late afternoon Siesta on the west side of the patio… And because I’ve always wanted to have myArt easel hi above a hilltop looking down over the valley of the grapes and the beautiful trees you need to Italy what’s the mountains or ocean in the background, and painting for days various scenes that I can take in and a leisurely paste instead of rushing around like we do in the US!! I can’t wait to see more of your videos and I wish you all a wonderful vacation and time together God bless you all❣️❣️❣️❣️🐕 God bless you and thank you for this video and enjoy the new journey in Italy and wherever your travels take you❣️❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I love you guys ! So funny. I am impressed and inspired by your artwork, Madame. The adverts, with your senses of humour are bearable, indeed interesting as well. Thank you for sharing your experience of renovating because I'll be doing that myself soon on a smaller, more rustic scale. Best wishes !
I love it when Philipp interrupts the newlyweds only to have them compliment Anna on all the renovation/design of the chateau! Hilarious! This was such a lovely episode! I’m rewatching it for a third time! Enjoy your break! Your family definitely deserves it😊
Thank you for sharing your amazing journey with all of us. I started watching your videos this summer as I was dealing with some health issues that kept me on the couch. Your videos were positive and funny. I have appreciated how you struggle with balancing family and career. My husband and I have struggled with this issue as so many parents do. I finally created a RU-vid account because I needed to subscribe to your channel! Thank you for choosing to continue videos for us. We appreciate you so much!
A wedding party as the last chateau guest was…perfect. Your travels to Italy were absolutely lovely. I live in America. We took a 3-week drive across this land and then back home again. Over 7,000 miles and we never came close to a border with another country. I love seeing what it is like to live in such close quarters other countries. It most definitely highlights how the “American Experiment” of one big land for many different tribes of people is different from life on most of the planet. I look forward to each of your videos!
I adore your vignettes so much and the music, as well as you both inspire me immensely. As a parent, you provide the type of life I truly wanted to provide my children and so vicariously I enjoy so much of what your beautiful family lives like every day. In closing you are a very beautiful family and your beautiful daughters deserve all of you so I get it. I can't wait for the leg of your journey.
A beautiful wedding with very special guests, and bittersweet moments, I’m sure, but how great to get some time away at the beautiful hometown of yours. The scenery is so picturesque. Loving your road-trip and can’t wait to see part two. Have fun. xx
Awe, what a beautiful way to end the guest house, the wedding looked beautiful. I am with Ziggy, I got a little car sick watching with all the turns. Amazing footage of the beautiful scenery through Switzerland. Enjoy Italy- see you next week.
the wedding & goodbye bits....such an enjoyable vlog, Phillip,Anna & family. I especially loved the scenery in Switzerland & all those places I have never been. I hope Ziggy better. I can imagine it was emotional drive for Phillip.thankyou ENJOY!♥
My goodness me! My heart missed a beat when I recognised views from villages from southern Alsace and the border with Switzerland in Basel, going over the Rhine … the region I used to live in when I set off 32 years ago to come to England… and where my Mum still lives … just got flights for her to celebrate Christmas here … three years I haven’t been able to see her … the Alps are truly breathtaking, have a joyful time with Philippe’s family!
So many blessings all of you! Your next chapter is going to be creatively expansive and bring even more gifts to you and all of us who love what you bring to us. I'm so excited. God bless you!!
I love travelling and it felt that I was in the car with you. Enjoyed the journey, thank you. I and my husband did a similar journey long ago, sadly he is no more ,it brought back memories.
Congratulations on a job well done as B&B owners and best of luck for your future endeavors. So glad you are taking some family time. What gorgeous countryside. Have a wonderful safe trip. Looking forward to what’s next at the chateau. Have fun!
Beautiful South Tyrol, authentic Tyrolian food, vino & Gelato, breath taking Alpen views, traditional land houses and lovely, lovely people ❤ Have a great holiday!!!!
I said to my sister, "that sort of looks like Sara Dietschy but I don't think it it is." And she said, " ya I thought it was her for a second too." And then you said this is Sara Dietschy and we were ohhh, that why we thought it was her. Because it is. Lol! 🤪 Loved the vlog and really enjoyed the road trip.
Perfect video. A wedding, sad farewells, laughter, the children, Ziggy, lovely music and the most beautiful scenery. Just what I needed on a damp Monday morning as I get stuck into the laundry! Thank you and bonnes vacances.
The countryside is heartbreakingly beautiful. Traveling through Europe is one of my bucket list goals. I've lived in Texas, USA my entire life and we have nothing that even comes close here. Thank you for sharing your cross-country journey!
Thank you for that beautiful scenery of France, Switzerland and Italy. Can't wait to see more. I guess I will never get to experience Europe...so thank you. Love your channel and your good sense of humor. Idaho USA
Have a great time. I am glad to see how happy Phillip is to be home. I have never seen such beautiful mountains before like yours. Your car ride brought the splendor of the Alps as none have done before. Thank you for taking us along.
What a wonderful episode! South Tyrol is so gorgeous! I know you had a lot emotions with your changes. Thank you so much for the travelogue! I made a similar car trip from near Poitiers in the Berry region over to Haute Savoie near Voiron in 2007. Love car journeys across Europe. So glad you got to the Tesla charging station!!
I'm with Ziggy, my tummy churned and I got car sick watching BUT a great vlog. The end of an era and the beginning of another. Have a lovely break and look forward to part 2..😁❤👩💼
Congratulations to the newlyweds looked like a magical wedding. Thank you Anna and Phillip for the incredible scenic drive through France, Switzerland and into Italy it's just so beautiful, especially for me in Australia, as it's been nearly 11 yrs since I was in Europe... It's bringing back some treasured memories of my time there. Amazing...
I have an electric car, if you are on a motorway and you are low on battery, get behind a big truck, if you are in the slip stream of their vehicle there is much less resistance on your car and you save a heap of power it works I have done it. That advice was given to me by the man who fitted the charger at my house! (probably works for combustion engine cars too!)
Ooh exiting video! Such beautiful scenery. Haven't been to Switzerland for ages, nice to see a glimpse. That spooky romantic mist on the fields, in Sweden we say the fae (fairies) are dancing on the meadows (or lake) and it's a good omen not bad (but you wouldn't disturb them). Poor little Ziggy gets car sickness. It's common. Nothing the fresh mountain air doesn't fix in a minute! What a beautiful bride and groom! Must be nice to get away for a change and visit family. Enjoy! ❤️😍
Thank you for the road tour!! I live in the US and likely won't ever go to abroad but it's interesting to see the scenery and to see areas where my ancestors may have lived or traveled (we have some Swiss but mostly German, Irish and English). I also find it cusious that my family from those areas came here and lived in areas that seem to have similar landscaping and weather! Makes me wonder if it were intentional. If you are ever over here, Cumberland Gap in KY is beautiful but very remote. My family evetually ended up in Northern Ohio in the "flatlands" but had migrated there from Southern Ohio/Kentucky/West Virginia areas.
@@jj-if6it Thank you! My daughter is disabled so we have a large medical bill budget. I did take both of my kids to Canada a couple times before Covid and I learned that other countries don't care about disabled people much. There was no wheelchair access to most places and although people were nice, she missed out on stuff because they don't think about stuff like that. One place flat out said they didn't take people in wheelchairs and wouldn't refund us! It was interesting to see a world without our American's with Disabilities Act!! That's why I likely won't go.
@@amyno5688 I'm surprised as I would have thought Canada was much better than the US for that sort of thing, and they don't have huge medical bills. Here in Australia we have a disability agency that provides free services for people, some people get $60k a year or so to spend.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful drive with us.. The kids were very sweet too. I hope you receive your much needed change of scene and a rest. You are very special. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Had the great pleasure of living in Switzerland in the late 1980's. We lived in the village of Aesch, right outside of Basel. Incredibly picturesque country for travel. Thanks for sharing your trip. It brought back so many wonderful memories.
Gosh, your place is so perfect for a tiny wedding. I wish we could hold our upcoming wedding there. Excited to see what you guys are doing with your home.
Hello lovely couple ! You passed not far from home at the french border in Alsace! And then Basel ! So pleased To see that you enjoyed your trip through Switzerland. What a gorgeous country!
