Its not because of the offensive that zeke was good there was more times that he had to create his own space then having clear holes and hes the type of running back who needs to keep getting the ball and he will eventually break one but now they want to switch him in and out and it slows him down

After their rookie deal, running backs should have performance based pay. That way no one will stop training hard during the off season.

The best ability is availability great in the red Zone physical and punishing but we don't need him the NFL is messed up.

Believe 99% of NFL RBs on their big money 2nd Contracts all end up getting injured half the season, lazy of not showing up at practices or arriving late majority of times, if not not at all of being absent for practices. I mean 99% of elite RBs are like this and reasons why NFL no longer deem veteran RBs as a value they can benefit off of from a veteran RB wanting next contract to be twice as much from the last. Its a 3 year window for the rookie RBs to perform at elite level to get their next contract as multi millions but the list is getting longer on RBs being cut after 4 years as 60% of only 40% of rookie contracts get to 2nd contract, and 99% are gone in the NFL by their 6th year or even 5 years. Only veteran RBs who will play league minimum for veterans and that is only 2% in NFL now or even 1%.

Didn't watch the full video, no need. Cowboys actually graded Pollard a little higher in Pass Pro last season. Also in short yardage, if you look at all 12 of Zek's TDs last year on half of them a #4 back would have scored with no problems. An average back would have scored on 3-4 of the TDs. So his value is at best Minimum salary at this point. Also The Cowboys did not "burn him out" as some have said. He did have some knee problems the past 2-3 years and that limited his ability to make the longer runs. Glad the Cowboys pulled the trigger and let him go. Really don't see any other team picking him up unless it is at League Minimum.

Just another overpriveleged college athlete who did good in the pros until he got paid. He is a trend that will not go away until these owners stop giving huge contracts to players after early success. Most never live up to their big contracts. Once paid big, the only way to go is down. Now it seems the owners learned from this mistake, running backs are not valued or paid what they were.
