THE END OF INTOXICATION (WEED & ALCOHOL IN ISLAM) 

I'm a smoker. Please do pray for me to get rid of this. May Allah give me Strength and all other people who are facing same

My father is a Muslim, so am I. He started smoking when he was 15 and very rarely prayed. Now he is 44, seven months ago he stopped smoking and started praying daily. It was a surprise for the rest of the family cause we didn't know how suddenly such huge change came in him. Now he is doing perfectly fine without cigarettes. it's never late to change, just pray to Allah that your sins are forgiven. My ultimate goal in life is send him and my mother for Hajj.

I've stopped and started smoking 3 times. I always ended up going back, but I stopped a month ago and I pray to Allah that I don't go back. Please make Dua for me dear brothers and sisters

I'm a revert who did this stuff for over 20yrs, everything about this video is 100% on the haqq. Any disagreement only means the persons intellect is flawed. Islam is the truth. when I turned to Islam I stopped smoking and selling weed. I was doing good money, I had good contacts in that black world. But inchange, my mind and my soul was going dark and more dark everytime I was selling to a friend. Guys, STOP USING DRUGS is one of the best things you can do in this life.

I was addicted to weed and I would drink alcohol to the point where I thought I was going to an alcoholic but now Alx I’m sober and been sober for 3 months and started praying and getting closer to Allah. Pray for me that Allah continues to keep me on this path inshaAllah

Alhamduliah ive never drank or smoke. Distance yourself from friends that do it wallahi even if it means you have no friends. The greatest of friends we can get close with is the almighty Allah swt.

I've been fighting alcoholism since I was 15 or so now I'm 31, I on my last chance. My mother had surgery and I made Dua for her and slowly now my mum is recovering. Well I'm taking this opportunity to free my soul from self destruction by drinking. Allah has shown and I see his signs all the time, I just know he tests me for a reason and that is to become a better Muslim. Bismillah I'm going to keep on fighting for righteousness...I hope you do too....never give up cos Allah doesn't forget you unless you forget him.

OMG, I am crying in the bus right now, oh gosh..not a Muslim but I am a Unitarian who believes Prophet Muhammad is the last seal of prophet. Pray for me, brothers and sisters. Ever since I changed my ways, the path of life i choose, no indulging in temptations of the dunya lust/fornication/etc 11 years of straight path, 7 years of celibacy. I feel so complete, protect my limbs against any forms of treachery my lord, safe guard my body against lustful temptations, give me the strength my Creator, for nothing pleases me now but meeting u with a 100% pureness of my heart. I remember last year I used to smoke and drink with my friends and my faith was not strong, but one thing about my experience is that I always felt paranoid around the people I did these sins with, and I realized that they were not to be trusted, and they were bad people, who sold drugs, did morally wrong and illegal things, tried influencing and pressuring others into doing them too, thought of themselves better than others, until I got a significant reminder in my life and that's when I decided to strengthen my faith and leave all my sins behind after asking forgiveness from Allah. Don't go through the same thing I went through, don't touch any of this Haram stuff, it's Haram for a reason my brothers and sisters..

Please brothers and sisters pray for me 2 stop smoking. ..May Allah grant us All Jannah

I just gave up smoking marijuana a little while ago after about one year of smoking everyday. I worked hard paid my bills and did not take any type of welfare. I feel better, happier and simply more positive. It started with the fact I would soon lose my job of 3-4 years after a store remodel. I was a devoted employee who was simply unlike by the new GM. I am not his personal choice so I have to lose my job in about a month. Me quitting smoking started simply with being ready to get a good paying job. But after being sober I can now see how wrong I was for getting high... it was a sad addiction that controlled me. I will never ever go back to the darkness!

I'v never got drunk and never got high,my education helped me a lot to stay away from it,some years ago I moved to Canada🇨🇦from 🇩🇿 ,I'm still clean ,hamdulillah

I converted to Islam 9 years ago but i have battled with the disease of Alcoholism to this day. Can any brothers or sisters share some more Islamic material that might help me out? Inshallah im able to make a strong comeback now in my 30s and kick this terrible habit.

I really need to rethink my life

Weed is made legal in the West. That should give you pause to reflect on “why?”. Weed promotes sinful activity and forget or distorts the mind.

15 yrs ago I divorced young become drinker; gets worse, can't go through a day without drunk, my litigation career's over, my family life falling down, 2006 my throat burned lost my voice for 2 weeks after drinking flaming flamenco 2 times on my birthday eve and drunk, from sweet mild my voice changed to mild coarse afterwards, since then if I speak more my voice will become coarser, I did make friend with risky people who socialize but play with drugs at the times; I quit drugs earlier for fear of overdose addiction, been charge 1 time drug offence but dismissed, so I quit it for good of fear of serious consequence and for not want shaming my families, it took more than 8 years than since This year in Mac 2019 I finally MUST quit! I have a court charge of uttering a provocative, insulting remarks while under intoxication of a mix of drinking Island Tea, Guiness Stoutt n beer, to a police officer who is doing a routine check on the spot I drink at, that is a real wake up call for me, I end up going through serving prison for 10 days for I beg for leniency with heavy tears.. while in prison I get a tough treatment from inmates in my cell totalling 6 include me, they are giving me hard times and intimidating threat towards me, .. from there, I am grateful I did my soberity for good, I have to start all over for better

I'm hooked to weed and I find it hard to stop, pray for me brothers and sisters I need strength 🙌

Don't hate the sinner, hate the sin... The brothers and sisters who abuse this stuff, need to look deep within and ask them selves why? In reality we use these high dopamine releasing substances to supress pain, that's what dopamine does it literally numbs or suppresses pain temporarily but does not cure it. The pain can be emotional physical and psychological. get therapy and explore why you use it, some people use these substances as a crutch to mabye function, but eventually you build a tolerance and the inner problems are still left there to deal with. And if you don't deal with it then it may harm you in other ways in the long run, Why do you think old people are so grumpy lol. if you struggle in quitting don't worry Allah already knows, he's waiting for you to ask him for help and he is ready to forgive.

A Canadian Muslim here, and its true that we legalized usage of Marijuana, but you would still need to order online and cannot get it from the streets unless you want to break the law and find yourself a dealer, and almost 99.9 percent of us have an addiction problem, but addiction isn't just alcohol or marijuana in general, addiction could be anything, anything that harms the mind, the soul, the future DNA of our children, families, and relationships, is considered toxic we live in a day and age that almost everyone drinks, almost everyone smokes, almost everyone is addicted to some type of drug, the evil in this world is a lot greater than what most people think it is, and for many our state of mind, depression anxiety isolation from reality can get the best of us, weather it would be us or people outside, the smoke is almost unescapeable as it is everywhere that we possibly go while traveling to work or seeing our families or praying at the local masque, i pray to Allah swt that our addiction doesn't get the best of us, and may he find us a way out of this darkness, may he guide us all through a path of righteous and light, may he cure the blind the deaf and the mute, the sick, who are going through difficulities in life or make it easier for them to endure a life that they could be happy in, its been almost 2 years i have quit smoking and i still fall weak sometimes to the voice of the devil, who askes me to light another one, but i always tell myself or remind myself of why i let go off it, and that im a firm believer of Allah swt. no addication is bigger than the help of Allah swt..... may he help us all - Ameen

I used to smoke weed infact i used to abuse it. My journey back to islam was a big struggle. im still struggling to get out of my laziness. Under influence you become completely oblivious to everything, you become really lazy. One more thing to spend soo much money to roll a joint and sit lazy in a corner is really not worth it. Although marijuana has its benifits, i ll consum it only when i know that by body has a genuine sickness and it is the right medicine. Spending money and abusing it just to get high and sit in a corner is really not worth it.

I will have good days where I pray and my iman keeps me safe but then I will get cocky, I will let my guard down a moment I'm all too sure shaitan waits for. My dear brothers and sisters I ask that you pray for me, I know it seems inconsequential compared to what many others go through, but it ruins me in ways only Allah knows. Honestly brothers and sisters with my experience with weed I've been smoking for almost 7 years and at first its the most amazing thing, food taste amazing, senses enhanced, everything feels nice. but after a few years of smoking and being addicted to it alhamdulilah I just started not to enjoy it, from the paranoia, to the laziness, boredom. It become something more so habit rather than enjoyment. Till this day I'm not going to lie it does have something benefits in moderation, but in general it just a bad habit. And when you realize your true purpose you'll find out you don't need to vice to assist you in the process of feeling "creative"

No body can ever have, the greatest honour ever of, seeing Allah(swt) with your very eyes whilst alive know matter what state if condition your in.Only after death,will you be granted the highest honour,the honourable pleasure of seeing Allah(swt).That pleasure is only out of his blessed mercy and must be earned.We strive to please Allah(swt),to earn his pleasure from hi mercy May Allah(swt) guide us all,keep us all guided to the only true religion,to Islam(Ameen).Say Ameen).

It's important to be educated about cannabis. There are many strains. The ones that are high in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are the ones that will get you intoxicated. The ones high in CBD (cannabidiol) do not. There are CBD dominant strains developed now that are used for making oils etc that cure cancer. Smoking is definitely not the way to use it as a Muslim. But in small amounts, CBD oil has been helping children with autism, ADHD and seizures. This is why I am happy that it is becoming legalized in so many places. It's unfair for those who benefit from it medically and do not use it for recreational purposes to live in fear for doing something about their own health. Whether or not it was legalized, it is still happening, just under the radar. That's the only difference. Placing controls affects the black market negatively and may even reduce criminal activity. There are hybrid strains that are 20:1 in ratio for CBD to THC. They cannot get you high even if you try. But extremely healing. So it's not fair to demonize a herb that Allah has blessed us with for healing, as long as we do not abuse it and use it wrongfully to get high.

I have something called idiopathic tremor, a sip of alcohol makes it go away as doctor said but I still don't drink unless I really have to ie. in certain social situations, job interview etc. because my anxiety is much more intense than a normal persons and it really shows.

Today I tried weed to get high and it’s something I wish I never feel again. The “high” they refer to is just your soul getting tortured and Jins flooding your blood. You can feel the blood rushing throughout your body; hearing sounds, your limbs moving, and a sense of eternal agony. I came to believe that marijuana gives your soul an opening for the shayatins to come in and roam freely. Thats also why a lot of users experience like they are about to die or even consider suicide. Believe me I was praying to God that this agony ended sooner and to forgive my sins.

This why i love Islam......toxic free

Allah knows best. If he says it's not good for us, we try our best to refrain from every form of intoxication. May we follow our master Muhammed pbuh sunnah.
