The end of my SKODA journey | Going to its new home at a GOGGOMOBIL collection!

An exiting journey with my Skoda 105 Estelle is coming to and end.
I dragged (literally) this car out from a snow covered barn where it was abandoned and forgotten about for around 20 years.
With a lot of work and a few spare parts it was brought back on the road and seems to be getting better each and everyday!
Unfortunately I have to make room for the next project and therefor decided to let the Skoda go to a new owner.
The new owner from 1940 was very pleased to receive is newest addition to his collection. And even though the Skoda is from 1986 I think it was one of his newest !
This Skoda is going to live with what i believe is the biggest collection of Goggomobil´s in Denmark. Anton owns 4 Goggomobil which is really something else.
Thank you all! The Skoda will be missed, but I was told that I could always visit it.... These kinds of trades is what it is all about.

I just wanted to thank you for these video's. I came across these just as I have purchased my second 120 L here in Australia. They have helped me a lot. There are things I never thought of checking before I watched these. Don (Melbourne Australia)

Very late to the channel and this amazing project. I have enormous respect and affection for Skodas since owning a 2004 Fabia vRS. It served me faithfully for 12 years and I now regret parting with it. I think the Estelle is a gorgeous car and you've done it proud.

These cars were quite popular in the UK too, despite the jokes. Not so many 105s here which were thought a bit underpowered, but lots of Estelles/120Ls were sold here in the 1980s. One car magazine at that time compared the Skoda 120L with the BL Metro and thought the Skoda was the better value new car! Your car was definitely a survivor and well worth restoring. Always nice to know that a much-loved car is going to a good home, too. I'm guessing if you found another one, you'd be quite happy working on it too. I really enjoyed your vids with this car. Thanks.

If I find another I will for sure do it! Especially a 120 or a rapid could be fun! I really like the Skodas... :D

Wow, what a great Journey, I am thoroughly enjoying your channel! Very interesting! These were a car you seen somewhere on every street when I was of school age, seems like a lifetime ago. Funny how the cars from youth always bring a smile to my face! Thank you for sharing! Dan, (Northern Ireland).

I'm sure the Skoda 105 S is in good hands that will take it to the next level of restoration it needs. It would be great to have an update, maybe revisit the car after it's fully restored.

NOOOoooo !!! Your Skoda video was my introduction to your brilliant channel. I was reliving my youth which included a '78 Skoda 105. Maybe I was looking back through rose-tinted glasses as, come to think of it, mine was a disaster from start to finish. It was so bad that it was replaced by a Jawa sidecar combination....

Sad to see the Škoda go. Reassuring to see it’s going to Anton. He seems like the man who values it and takes good care of it. When I turn 85 I hope to be like Anton. What an enthusiast ❤️. Thank you for sharing your story about the Škoda 105! Enjoyed it very much. Good luck on your other projects. Goodbye 👋🏻

Whoever knows this automobile, he knows he need to add some fuel into carburator by stepping on gas pedal few times before it actually starts :) And then he needs to add some extra fuel by setting on fuel enricher (which he cannot forget set off after a while). Imagine this is done automatically by new cars... but back then you had to do it yourself :)

All I can say is wow , what a fine collection of stuff that gentleman has , is it open as a museum that people can visit ? what a fantastic place that is. It's been a great journey watching you turn the Skoda into what it is now , it's a credit to you , you did a splendid job on it. But hey ho onto the next project what ever that may be.

I'm happy to see the Skoda going to such a nice home! What an amazing collection! I think this series started around the time I came across your channel, and I loved every episode since! I was continuously amazed at how nice it seemed to be to work on. I also really like these "saying goodbye" videos, similar to your GT turbo video, it brings everything "full circle", especially with short clips from the journey along the way :) Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
