Iruka is hands down the best character of the series. He was unfortunately very underutilized in the story but I'm glad Kishimoto showed by the end that Naruto really considers Iruka like his dad or older brother. If not for Iruka then Naruto possibly would have ended up like other broken villains of the series.

Some of u said it should have been Kakashi Naruto asked to stand in as his father.. A. Kakashi is attending the wedding as the Leafs Hokage along with the other Kage since Naruto is such an influential figure in the Shinobi world. B. Iruka was the first person in the Leaf other than Hinata to accept and acknowledge Naruto. 😊
