God damn, you're a chad for donating so much to Brine. He might not have thanked you yet, but I thank you for supporting him so that the rest of us poor people can enjoy the show. Youre the best dude.
@@standingfierce9285 awww man, I was HOPING he’d have to fight Wolfgang so bad 😂 Wolfgang vs Brian_F for the final battle of good vs evil would’ve been so sick
Congrats on hitting your milestone with time to spare before SF6! It has been a real pleasure to follow your journey through all of its ups and downs. Best of luck in SF6 and just life in general lol
Im genuinely going to miss this series. This semester has been a period of serious personal growth for me, and it has not been easy. But having something consistent like a video series of a dude playing a video game in his room and pulling up a spreadsheet has been a source of comfort, and seeing the series end on the last day of the semester just feels perfect. This chapter of my life is coming to a close, and so is this grind. Thanks for helping me through Brian, I’m gonna look back at this time of my life with fondness, and this series will be part of it
Grahmpa showing up at the final match of Punk's 100 win streak and making him sweat then handing Brian F a diamond LP loss is insane. Secret final boss.
Being someone that hasn't played a lot of Street Fighter 5 watching this series has been both entertaining and addicting despite my lack of knowledge in the game. Congratulations on reaching Warlord Brian, hope to see you in SF6! ✊
Even though I wasn’t there for the journey I enjoyed watching the videos and Vods, this series alone pushed me to buying a arcade stick and developing a pocket oro. Thank you Brian_F for enduring all the diamonds, the net-code, the robbery and oro as a character.
This has been such a good series, I'm sad to see it come to an end but it's been an incredible ride. Was awesome to see people like Wolfgang, Zack (though I'm sad they didn't show up near the end), Pokey, Tayson, and all the rest of the recurring folks become an integral part of this journey on the way. Big props to Brian & Double A for making Road to Warlord such a big part of my routine
I started watching Brian back around the time when he first made the GoodOnMyEnd account, “why you’re stuck in bronze” was the first video of his I watched, I believe. I picked up sfv around when the pandemic hit and Brian’s videos were a huge inspiration for me. What a perfect conclusion to this era of sf. Here’s to making more beautiful memories in 6!
My heart is actually pounding from that last match, it was such an unbelievably close set and ended in the most hype way possible against the most hype player. What a journey
IT'S OROVER GGs, Brian! Glad I watched this live. Gonna enjoy watching whatever you do in the future. Edit: big props, BGA. You've done an amazing job as always, GGs to you too for carrying the success of the road to warlord on RU-vid.
This has been an epic journey through and through. Props to the players, props to Jojo, props to the chat, props to the editor for making such great clips, and prop to the big Brian_F for the grind!
LETS GO BRINE! Glad to have been able to catch your final win live, your journey has been thoroughly entertaining and your videos have been my go to choice while eating dinner for the past few months. Can't wait to see what lies ahead for you!
I was watching the finale on twitch but it wouldn't let me comment because of some email proof thing. Either way, super stoked for you. Crazy grind. This was a journey. Thank you Brian, you're awesome.
This was super awesome to see happen. I only got recommended your videos recently due to watching a lot of promotion leading up to SF6, so I've just caught the last few videos, but you have put in a lot of work so you absolutely deserve this win. It is really inspiring and makes me want to try hard when 6 comes out. Last fighting game I played more than a few hours of was Tekken 3, so there is no god damn way I will make it out of bronze, but I will try my god damn hardest 👏
No joke, I was actually inspired to learn and get better when I started watching this series. I was always stuck at bronze (had the game for a few years). I started to not just play casually. I started by watching Justin Wong's How to get better at Fighting games video and some of your old vids about ranks, why I might be stuck there, and how to get better. I learned and am currently Super Silver now. Goal is Gold, but even if I don't make it, I've learned so much and plan on taking this enthusiasm and knowledge to SF6 and try to become competitive.
Been an absolute pleasure to follow this journey on YT! I can never catch the streams live, but been following the grind from the start. Super excited for the future with SF6. Maybe I'll get a chance to have my ass beat by you some day. Cheers, my dude!
I started watching this channel when road to warlord vids had been recommended to me, and I’m so glad I did, because it’s been so cool watching your journey. Congrats on Warlord, and see you in SF6 :)
It’s been a amazing journey watching you climbing the ranks of sfv, I may have joined the the watch a little late but enjoyed every second. Although sad to see it go, I’m so glad it happened and wouldn’t have it either way. I hope to still see you play Sfv in the future now as a warlord, this series won’t be the same with the spreadsheet but I would rather have it than not.
When Brian yelled "fuck gods will" I felt like I was watching a climactic final episode to a show or something, something incredible lurks within Brine and it appears only for a moment.
Was awesome being there live, congrats again brian! Very good video, well edited, well paced, well framed story, and the bit of context in the beginning was nice, keep up the great work, cant wait for all characters to master grind in sf6! :V
Thanks for sharing the highlights to the last steps to achieving this milestone. I was only here for a couple of videos prior, but it was a great ride.
ahh looks like I made it in lmao. The nervousness sure did get to me playing against you but I'm happy to have experienced a fun match overall. Still got a lot to fix on dropping combos when tensions are high!
You got it on my birthday, you got it in the final game of the set, and you got it with a combo into super. Joyous be the heart, penitent one in Warlord.
I'm glad I got to watch it live, it felt like such an event. I woke up at like 4 am my time to catch the stream, the insane amounts of subs and donations, Brian struggling to grasp just how many people were watching, the struggles of the last bit of grind and topping it all off with the bottle of bubbly. Big ups to Brian and especially Mr godlike editor BrainGeniusAcademy for making this series so amazing.
37:40 Dude, you looked as if your heart was in your throat waiting for the game to officially say "KO" while it metaphorically pats you on the back for a job well done when all was said and done. It's been a fantastic rollercoaster watching your journey and it had such a satisfying climactic end. Great job Brian "That Twitter Guy" F! As usual, looking dorward to more of your future content.
This turned into one of my favorite series of videos to watch on here a couple months ago and I’ve enjoyed every minute of every upload. Congrats Brian, you deserve! 🎉🥂
Been following this series since the begining! It gave me the motivation to finally making it out of bronze! Thank you for taking us along with you on this journey, to frothiest of pumps!
Man, this was so epic. Something is just so satisfying about setting a difficult, but achievable, goal and completing it, whether it's yours or one you see someone else complete. Thank you for this journey. I hope your next endeavors bring you even more success.
man,am seeing indeed how many people got invested lol. At first i thought this would just be a silly thing, and deep beneath i still think so lol,but ig you still managed to make it special for people,so; Great stuff man, same to bga and double a as always. Though I may not have been following the series that much from said initial thoughys,i’m still glad to have been there to see some of it and watch it end up with a bang to be remembered,as well as,the positive of some newfound eyes with maybe a newfound interest for fighting games thanks to this series. Maybe 👀 Again props to the team, grats on wormlord wooo!!!👍
PUT. THE. POINTS. IN. THE. BAG! Congrats Brian! This series was a joy to watch. I might have to rank up to platinum when I get back from Japan. We'll see.
I’m lucky to see this live … I don’t say this about many things, but I think I can wholly and honestly say that I can feel the road of warlord coming inside of me.
🎉Congrats on your achievement Brian🎉 This series introduced me to your channel, and was definitely a fun and thrilling ride to watch, and has me excited for your future SF6 content.
Been scratching wall paint off every wall in wishing for this moment to come. Thanks brother. Very good luck to you, and what a great ending to a sub-saga that I am simply astounded to have seen.
what a journey, from way back when he started it I thought to myself "this is going to be a long grind" and he finally made it. It was great to watch super consistent street fighter content and hope he continues for SF6 bc I struggled to find other content creators that were as knowledgeable/fun to watch. The fact I don't really play Oro and almost never see my main on the vids shows how much I just like watching Brian/Wormlord
It was really a great journey sir, this ending is really satisfiying, thank you for the content. I will miss hopping into youtube everyday after work to watch da grind, but it was beautifully done, and yes, it inspired me to my things
Reminds me of when in GGST I had to beat a Chipp player to get into Celestial my first time, and that was my personal worst matchup, but I finally did it. Right now in SFV I'm pushing through silver and it's certainly been a struggle. I've been on losing streaks that put me all the way from ultra silver back into super bronze, but my Menat is starting to come through. Congrats on Warlord, hell of a ride.
Thank you for the hours of entertainment. I Feel a little silly that I got this invested, but I would wake up every morning, make a cup of coffee, get on my yoga mat, turn on the TV and say “let’s see how far Brian got today”. Little sad it’s over, but very happy for you. Maybe I can get to super plat before sf6. 10k is a pretty number too.
