I used my over the road experience to get a good local job. Now I'm home every night, see my boys all the time and can do the times normal people do again. Lol
Hey Charlie, you Canook! Lol. A lot of truckers suffer from constipation and I think Hank may be on of them. Actually, he may be bringing that in BEFORE ANY expenses and fuel. However, I do have a friend who's an O/O and lucked up pulling auto parts loads for a Co. He's AVERAGING around $2,500 a week AFTER expenses and fuel. So, it IS possible, just NOT the norm.
I can't say for sure because I'm not him, but I never made that kind of cash and I was doing deck work and O/D which pays more than van or reefer loads. I was making about $130,000(canadian) a year before fuel and maintenance. A few times I ended up with about $1000 pocket money for the entire month. All thanks to my caterpillar. Pulled good up hills. Pulled even more money out of my wallet.
NEVER, NEVER NEVER AND THAN NEVER lease a truck. You will live and die poor. I just got out of truck driving school and I found a local job through the school hauling John Deere equipment for a dealer. Pays descent with benefits and cool tractors and stuff to play, I mean work, with.
No videos in 3 years? You have over 1,000,000 views on your last video! Just does not make sense?? How about an update video of what you have been doing these past 3 years?
I sure have enjoyed watching your videos and learning from them. Where are you from? I live in mo and go to work for prime in 5 days. :/ I'm a little nervous lol
