In this episode of Legend of the Superstition Mountains, Wayne Tuttle discusses everything found and accomplished this season, as well as what is next for the investigation into the Spiral Staircase and Legend of the Superstition Mountains.
The Superstition Mountains are located in Apache Junction, Arizona. Within the wilderness, the Lost Dutchman Mine has remained hidden, with up to $200 million in gold. Wayne Tuttle, Frank Augustine, Woody Wampler, Eric Deleel, and Eric Magnuson set out into the Superstition Mountains on History Channel’s Legend of the Superstition Mountains to search for the infamous gold mine in 2015. Growing restless waiting for a second season, Wayne and Frank decided to continue their search in the Superstition Mountains on RU-vid, filming videos of their treks into the mountains. The team now engages in treasure hunting and gold prospecting in the Superstition Mountains, searching for Ted DeGrazia’s lost paintings and investigating strange stories and mysteries of the Superstition Mountains.

Keep it up Wayne. There is so much more to do out there - limitless if you ask me. Your show is very unique and special to us and there's no reason is shouldn't continue. Personally, I love the group's attitude, love the banter back and forth with Frank - it's like watching a family do what they do and we're along for the ride. So, as I wind down this comment, and I think I can speak for others here, that we look forward to the next planned adventure that awaits you all. Grace and Peace to you and your family.

I know the feeling, Wayne. Here in the Kentucky/Tennessee area, we have the legends of the Indian silver mines attached to the Swift, LeKain, Leffew, Mullins, and Blakely legends. There are signs on rocks and in caves, but no one knows with certainty knows what they mean. Being into research and wanting to know the truth, there's always something else that makes the rabbit hole a little bit deeper than it was before. My point: The further you go, the more questions you have--and it's frustrating.

i think its really nice you share your findings with everyone openly, you're right its doing the public a service in terms of safety. If you search somewhere and show that and clear it then this makes others less likely to go down there as well (because you know treasure hunter souls will want to otherwise). I think this is a spiritual place that will honor your karma, that the gold and mountain are waiting for someone to show they deserve to find it after all of this time. I think you will be the person to find it and want to encourage you to continue searching in whatever ways are fun and dont cost money, simply searching because its fun (if you can afford to not work and do so) because this is the coolest thing you are doing! I could understand regretting putting money into it but if theres anything you can do for free searching like with a metal detector idk i think that would be worth it in the long run and that you will stumble across it finally one of these days when you least expect it. Don't throw in the towel because I can tell you love doing this! Also if money is a concern you could possibly make money off youtube soon with views and subscribers since youre at 12k! best of luck to you! You gained a new subscriber now :)

My guess would is that sometime long ago the shaft was a source for water. -Maybe a natural spring that dried up long ago.

I thought that, but the spiral , corkscrew aspect wouldn’t make sense in any shape or form. Plus it’s not deep enough in the Mesa to be anywhere close to groundwater

professional theives know that the camera records for 60 seconds so theyll meander around for a bit and then hit the target. You can raise it to 120 seconds on the app

Hey Wayne, I wanted to know if you remember back in 1991 or 1992 of the story of the fellow that found a huge nugget while doing construction work for a new strip mall in East mesa?..the project was halted and claims were sold in that spot,the fellow that found it was illegal and got deported..it was in the new times..I can't seem to find any info on that anywhere!😢😢😢😢

To confuse you, I'd say half-ass it. Explore other sites and I think you'll probably find yourself back here sometime down the road. With logistics especially water being critical, I wonder how the diggers here did it. Is/Was there a gas station with a Coke machine behind a stand of cholla nearby? How did Jacob Waltz get his water? There are seeps and springs around, sure, but I'd think you'd want to be fairly close to a reliable one. A drone in a shaft or tunnel is probably impossible with current tech. The signal would probably bounce a lot and in any case, you are going to need one of the best pilots of all time to be able to get a stable flight and miss any obstacles. With a pilot watching a drone camera live, there is the loss of spatial awaremeness where most people get totally disoriented like pilots do flying in clouds. Maybe get a mole and attach a Go-Pro to it?

There was something you said that i have kept pretty much to myself, it had to do with that ball that floated thru. i had to ask you if this is what you saw. it was what i will call an orb. it had an edge, inside the edge it was a purple, bluish color like a mist or cloud. it was emitting lightning, or electric current all joined together. moving around inside this orb, or globe and it floated thru the area i was in, anyway is that kinda what you saw, oh and it was the size of a soccor ball.

I was watching videos on my phone a few years ago next to my window it was about 2-3am and suddenly the night turned to day for about 5-10 seconds blue skies and all! I was confused for months until I found out a meteor fell that night and burned up in the atmosphere above phoenix.. I thought I had witnessed a glitch in the Matrix Lol..Just a meteor brotha!

It's been filled in by people and nature. Question,can't guys pull some money together and rent or buy some pack mules? You can bring better support beams and lock and tackle and supplies for three days. That stone is a marker used for tunneling. There is some kind of metal in it or radiation coming off of it. Maybe why the dogs won't go around it and your WiFi goes out. You should put it back where you got it after checking it for radiation. I have watched your videos since you were on the History channel,be careful out there.

I feel compelled to point out that the unusual (potential) alien activity in your yard mentioned at 35:46 happened at the same time (unknown to you at the time of filming/posting this) as the recent major UFO sighting in vegas (reportedly seen from 3 neighboring states). That strange activity in your yard and the vegas UFO sighting were both around April 30th (I'm guessing based off when you upload and you referenced to a few weeks prior to recording this), and THEN you recorded your story posting this shortly after on May 20th, and you posted this BEFORE the UFO sighting/bodycam footage and 911 call were released in June and made public. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE and only adds to your credibility in my opinion since you shared this without knowing that only one state away at the same time was the biggest UFO recorded sighting in history. You couldnt have made this up because you posted this before it was known. I hope this is making sense but would love if you made a video talking about this connecting it to the vegas UFO.
