I know this is old but I wish Crocodile had more of a reaction to Luffy's new bounty and him being called the Fifth Emperor. This is the brat who interfered with his plans two years ago and now he's gained so much notoriety and strength. I think it's possible if the Warlord System is dissolved that fujitora might personally go after each of the former warlords. He'd probably take a ship and a crew but they won't really do much

I notice you always assume that Mihawk is definitely stronger than Shanks because he refused to fight Shanks, but it might be the case that he refused to fight Shanks because he didn't want to be seen as only being able to defeat Shanks after he lost an arm.

Calling it now. Mihawk is going to be the cause of the second, and possibly third, failed buster call. I’d also love to see Mihawk just say fuck it and start marauding through the New World and become a Yonko without a crew. That’d be pretty baller.

Now that you think about it, if another of the long time warlords get taken out by someone else other than the World Government themselves then that could make the Revolutionary Army abolishes a line of the defense (Warlord level) from the government by getting Kuma back at Reverie. Then this makes destroying the World Government a little bit easier for Dragon. Just look at how events turned out at Marineford; Mihawk on Luffy's back, Boa destroying boths sides, kuma killing giant beast like Oars Junior, Doflamingo interferring with strong pirates like Crocodile and controlling Diamond Jozu, Moria's shadow bats and zombie army (isn't on same side as government any more). Take them out just think how much easier Marine ford would be while only dealing with admirals and fleet admiral instead of all of them plus Warlords. Monkey D. Dragon is smart and I can see why he is the most wanted man even when Whitebeard was alive.

I doubt the Government will really turn their backs on Mihawk he’s literally does nothing but cut down pirate ships,drink boos, and do what the government ask of him he showed up to the warlord meeting to replace the Crocodile and was with no hesitation a great help in Marine Ford.Only thing Mihawks really done is keep his self-respect and nothing else if anything it wouldn’t be a good Idea to try to attack a yonko lvl fighter just for doing nothing. Boa also hasn’t done anything bad (not that they know off). So some of the warlords may get pardoned cause Fujitora hasn’t seen the good warlords can do he just saw what Doffy did and heard of Crocodile and decided to end everything he doesn’t really know what he’s doing.

I do feel sorry for Boa, and Mihawk. They are good people, Boa especially doesnt deserve to be hunted, she just wants peace for her island.

I don't know much about swords. However I would like to state that Shanks is a left handed swordsman. Now it is my understanding that this is very uncommon as swordsmanship is hard and usually thought for defense and the majority of people are right handed. An epithet that we see commonly modeled by Link, Marth, Horace, and other Heroic Swordsman. I think that by losing his arm shanks who was probably equally balanced although he was left handed now had to switch hands. I believe Mihawk found battling such a skilled left handed swordsman incredibly hard and the challenge drove him to shanks for competition. I believe that Mihawk had long since established himself in the world as the strongest swordsman before shanks lost his arm, and that due to the loss of his arm although the boots were still competitive they both knew that there was a lack in difficulty. I believe Mihawk was interested in understanding and defining the learning curve found in Shanks' left arm, he would always win but what was it in the difference that seems intriguing to me and to a master swordsman I believe it would too. I do feel the warlord system will break down, but I feel it happens by itself. Weevil and Hancock already just do whatever they want, Buggy is cool as hell but he's fairly weak and Mihawk, they have a hard time getting him to do anything. So probably Weevil will be the cause of this breaking down. He's a big dummy lol he goes after Whitebeards remaining crew for an inheritance lol WG gonna have to cut ties be he's destroying too much and I see Green Bull or Akainu being the who puts him down

I can see Buggy panicking to go back to sea and escape a possible Marine intervention on his island and then his followers will interpret on him "getting serious" or something like, thinking he's aiming for something bigger in the seas, so they'll continue following him and it's going to be this huge fleet that everyone is scared of.

I could imagine, that the Warlords (or just some) could be given amnesty after the system is abolished. Only if they play along of course, like from the moment of the pardon, no more criminal activities or their bounties become activated again. Hancock for example is a monarch with a people after all and made a treaty with the WG to determine their status. That could be renegotiated. Mihawk bothers no one (with active pirating that is) so he could be pardoned to etc.

I think that Buggy's Delivery is Kaido's next trade deal. After the Dressrosa arc he said that they have monopoly on the war business so it's possible imo

It sounds like the biggest problem with the warlord system is that it wasn't up to date. In other words, Crocodile and Moria used to be some of the strongest... but not anymore. So in that aspect, accepting Blackbeard wasn't wrong, they need to constantly replace the older warlords with stronger pirates. So maybe there should be a way to consistently test their strength. Possibly even the government leaking a warlord's location to a rookie crew, and waiting to see who comes out on top. I still have a hard time believing that Moria's body shape isn't at least partially due to him being out of shape. And since they are discussing doing away with largely useless elements, I hope some Marine has the guts to point out that the Celestial Dragons aren't easy to work with, either. Of all the things they could have done with the original Kuma, letting him be a slave to a Celestial Dragon is such a waste. And if that's the best idea they could really come up with, somebody in the think tank needs to be replaced.

Buggy is the only one I can see really being in trouble or needing to move out in a hurry. Hancock is the only other one who might have some problems, but I don't think that Reverie ends, then six days later twelve battleships show up at Amazon Lily. With the Revs attacking Mariejois I have to imagine the WG will demand a fair number of strong marines remain there in case there's another assault, so there would likely be a delay. This might give the Kuja a chance to evacuate some of their people to another Calm Belt island, or declare Amazon Lily under the protection of Luffy. If by the time they arrive word has gotten out that Luffy beat Kaido in some manner it might cause delay. A thought though, imagine if Hancock got away but most of her people were captured and taken as slaves, how she would react then.

Mihawk is the Saitama of the OP verse. Kaido is also Saitama but with suicidal thoughts.

I’d be down for an arc where luffy goes to Amazon lily (Alone or with a few members of his crew) to help her out and even claim Amazon lily as a territory or the entire island gets destroyed and Hancock travels the world eventually meets up with the strawhats and becomes one 😂

Since mihawk has been stated to be shank's rival I don't see "an" admiral being the one to take him out. Going by lore mihawk, would be yonkou level; a mere admiral isn't defeating any yonkou. I'd say Admirals scale to the strongest yonkou commanders at best.

I think how this is gonna play out is just a manhunt for the schichibukai, not making a distinction between them and normal pirates which will probably even further create tension between pirates and the WG. This cleansing that the Gorosei talked about.
