Al-Qur'an Al-Kareem Chapter 6 (Al-Anam/The Cattle) 6:60 And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do. * Qur'an Chapter 39 (Az-Zumar/The Troops) 39:42 Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

But how then u explain family members hearing voices of the dead In the house? or seeing an image of the dead visiting houses of loved ones? Or feeling the presence of the dead that It feels as if someone standing behind u? What's the deal about 40 days then ? A tahlil should be made in the house after 40th day, so why Is that?

Can the soul of the dead meet with the living people in this earth? Can the soul of the dead act as a guiding angel to the living person or foresee a bad thing that is happening to the living and gives off a sign ? Is there any form communication of the soul of the dead with the living person? Is the soul of the dead in the house for 40 days after the death day? Where is the soul for 40 days which people claim is still in the house?

However, only Allah has full knowledge of how the worlds operate, and it may be possible that occasionally the veil between the worlds thins out so the two sides just may catch a glimpse of each other."
