This video was first recommended to me and about 5 minutes in.... I knew I had to watch this from the beginning, from the first video. And now that I've seen them all, I've laughed.... I've cried... The fact that I watched this over and over and over and over again is a testament to just how good the narration, editing, storytelling and general humour is. The only real shame IMO is that it ended at BWL, but it is what it is.

When Mostdope got added to the Genocide, I went from having mixed feelings to utter amazement- I may not agree with UberDanger as a person but there's something truly magical about enemies coming together. That little shot of all the people saluting Mostdope, the fact that he included that in the cut, honestly makes me wonder if UberDanger is secretly a nice guy who knows being an asshole is more entertaining.

Nice people being assholes on the internet is more common than you'd expect. Like you said, it's fun, it's entertaining and it can be a good stress reliever, something a lot of people look for. Not really an excuse to be an asshole (then again, this is a bit hypocritical of me given I'd say I am one), but there's some reasoning behind it, I'd say.

@@markoivankovic4571 more to the point, pretending to be an asshole in a video is funny. Also, a little secret from an experienced WoW player: much of what you see in these videos was roleplaying. You can see him rp walk quite a bit, as well as use custom emotes and his gear looks a bit too matchy to truly be a leveling set. Also, he definitely isn't actually a noob. The entire video series is mostly throwing shade at the most obnoxious members of the WoW community, Classic and Modern. He could only know about those people by being a WoW player himself.

Great orator skills (great choice of word and intonation), great music and excellent use of visual effects and backgrounds. I feel like I owe you a personal thank you, this series along with Barney's motivated me to try the game out for the first time last year in april, along with two friends of mine. It's worth noting that i have no prior experience with wow or any mmos for that matter before this. But here i am almost 2 years later, defeated kel'thuzad in naxx, Kael'thas in sunwell, and with no plans of resubbing next month. While i don't enjoy TBC, the friends and the memories i made on such a short amount of time was truly magical, playing on an rppvp realm made for so many interesting personalities and interactions, and while levelling, without knowing what was around the corner truly added a sense of wonder, going from a fresh noob with no clue, to learning how to play the class, clearing naxx and winning gressil, I won't get into tbc and it's many faults, because classic out lives it in so many ways for me, i know i haven't been in the community for nearly as long as some others, but it's already left it's mark, and it's not something i'll be forgetting anytime soon. What a truly special game this was.

That series was really great and this video a worthy ending. Was much fun watching all the adventures. When I started WoW, tbc was released 2 weeks after. So I relived the classic feeling on a private server 10 years ago. Was nice to see typical moments again. I think what made it really good was the difficulty level. TBC was very cool too, but for example you get good items all the time.

Fully agree with your review at the end, hands down the best MMO on the market to this day. The music is without a doubt the best out of any game and they still pump out good tracks since you used a few retail ones. The world building is unmatched with all of its atmosphere and immersion it provides. And to top it all off, absolute peak degeneracy that lifts the game of into high heaven. A game that is ages old and to this day still undisputably reigns as King is a testament to how good it is.

Playing a game that is entertaining to watch is one thing. When someone begs to be run through a game instead. It is time to reevaluate watching other more talented streamers.

I think you touched on a couple of things that did make the orginal wow amazing and have such fond memories. The STV part was dam accurate as we all returned to gank people, to me STV was athe place trial of fire you had to get through while leveling. I still remember when the Gates of AQ where Held Hostage and the whole place was a gank fest. Or the old pvp ranking system, and old school arena. As someone who missed the early raid environment, im glad they are pushing out BC so i can actually raid what i did not get too. I wish all my friends i made over the years well, and always wondered how they are living their lives.. best wishes Onslaught -

retail is luck over time, i main 2 chars, 1 is already 371 geared with bis corruptions and 0 stats on useless stat, while other one gets offspec corruptions

Maybe if you defined retail as luck over time and effort then sure. There's no skill in randomly rolling extra stats and shit, lets not eeeeeeven pretend..... And don't forget the obnoxious cash shop shit. Want to buy a little piggy mount? Ugh.... Classic is flawed, but Retail is dogshit.

@@Esonar yeah but retail content like mythic raiding and mythic+ dungeons require you to have hands. Nothing in classic come even close to require that skill.

This was the greatest wow video series I've seen. I really like wow and Its fricken hysterical seeing your take on it. Wish I played classic, it always looked fun but I was always too broke to afford buying it plus I don't stick with shit long enough to even get anywhere but oh well. My time in 2006 WoW. Play alliance warlock on totally horde dominated PvP realm. Play 2-3 hours a day, most of it corpse running and barely got level 58 before TBC.
