I was her driver for a con (I picked her up from the airport and to the hotel then the con) she is absolutely nice and very easy to talk to as well. We had a great conversation. At the end of it she asked if was going to be her handler(person who shows her around to the area that she'll be signing and taking pictures with fans) I told her no and she said well I hope to see again before I leave if not it was really great talking to you. She's dope.
Morena Baccarin was gorgeous 20 years ago on Firefly, and she is STILL gorgeous to this day. That, and she has great acting chops. What more could you ask for.
I love how whenever a bank gets robbed in a thriller it's not like a real bank (a couple ATMs and maybe two people selling loans) it's a CATHEDRAL OF MONEY like banks used to be half a century ago.
Looks like some of the cast is trying to act and the other half if not the majority thinks they're on a CW show. So money's on it not getting past one season.
If it is I hope they do what the Blacklist wouldn't. Throughout the entire show we saw Reddington's influence rub off on Elizabeth, if The Blacklist was a book or a movie the next logical step would be for Her to succeed him. But NBC didn't do that because James Spader is what made the show work, I hope this is different.
The only reason It didn't happen was because the actress didn't want to play the character anymore on The Blacklist she wanted to move on and do other projects not to mention she was pregnant, I'm pretty sure if she stuck it out to the series finale it would have happened where she took over and became the new concierge of crime!
This is literally The Blacklist with a female "bad guy" lead and a BIPOC "good guy" lead. 😂 I used to love The Blacklist back in its first few seasons before it became blatantly obvious the writers never had any actual endgame plan for Red and Liz's connection and were just making it up as they went along. Hope these writers have some idea of what they want the overarching story to be!
Remember that episode where red had brought those reporters to a secret location and told them about the cabal and what was really going on? I thought that was the direction the show was going to go in leading off of the whole "secret war" between reds organization and that committee group or whoever that was coming for red. That should have been the natural progression for the show considering if Reds whole disappearance years earlier, him creating the blacklist, then coming across or having contact with this secret cabal would have been the trigger for all of it. As if he saw it 30+ years earlier when he took over Reddington's identity and then saw the scope of the existence of the cabal back then.
I absolutely love Morena Bacarin! Became a fan since the V - Visitors where she played a alien villain! I was so disappointed when they didn't cast her as Lana Parilla "Evil Queen" 's sister, Zelena! I think she would absolutely kill it and she looks a lot like Lana! This trailer proves it!
I think Morena and Catherine Bell look more alike. There needs to be a show/movie about sisters. They could cast Lana (from once upon a time), Morena, Catherine Bell (from Jag and the Good Witch) and Gal Gadot. They all easily could pass for sisters.
@@The_Zilli I mean I guess in the general sense of consuming more stuff that she's in, sure, but those are both teams again. I specifically meant her with top billing. The Nathan Fillion or Richard Dean Anderson of your examples, respectively, if it must be an ensemble.
@@subman23 fair point however sometimes supporting roles are juicier than leads. And both shows I mentioned, are worth watching if you havent already ;) Cheers.
@@The_Zilli it's like you're not even paying attention to what I'm saying. You're just saying the thing you want to say, regardless. I hope you treat real conversations better than you're treating this one
This show is amazing! It keeps you on your toes because nothing is predictable. I watched Morena in the show V years ago and she had star quality them and she also produces this excellent show.
Great actress, its so very well making vilains. On Mentalist and V, Morena was espetacular. Congratulations NBC for brings Morena to this character on this show. 👏
I don't know how long this show will last even though Morena is in here and she slays with her role, plus there's also the guy from Nikita and OUAT who is great too. So I'll probably wait to see it goes well once the season is done. Crossing fingers.
She's come a long way with her acting abilities. I remember her in Firefly and Startgate SG1, she was pretty wooden. She was carried by her beauty and her co-stars but now she's much, much better.
I guess 1st wives club is not coming back for season 3 since Ryan Michelle Bathe has this show. I love her as an actress and wish people would see her as more than Sterling K. Brown's wife.
Justin Lin only directed the pilot and maybe one or two more episodes at most. Just like he did with other shows. His involvement is only limited to that, the showrunner is someone who will shape the story and they'll be responsible for how the season turns out! Also, they barely promoted other cast members like Noah Bean and Kelly AuCoin!
Finally Morena Baccarin gets a juicy starring role. Something different. Most of the roles she's gotten have been for good girlfriend or wife sidekick. She's been excellent but I hope her new role will show more range for her. Really loved her in Firefly and The Mentalist.
