The way mom just knew what was coming cracked me up! 😂 It's like she was ready for it. Also, can we talk about how we learn from our moms whether they are humans or not? Such a cute way to show that love! ❤🐾
Not all mothers is like this. And most human mothers do not know what to do now a day. Animals are way past us. They actually prepare and give non malnourished milk to the young. Actually know what to do to protect one from the jump without help. And actually will die for some younging instead of screaming and blaming anyone other than yourself for the protection of your baby .
@@SuperMercedes44Before a million simps come crap on u, ur right. There are lots of sucky moms and no one gets to talk about it cuz if u say anything other than "Moms are great!" you get shot down. It's weird.
@@kevin1seven923 not just tough love .. tough work(jobs) dads do too provide for their kids.. but no matter what dads do.. most kids always have more feelings for their mother more than fathers because in kids eyes their mother do their cooking, give them bath, make them ready for school, house cleaning etc and kids see that all the time but most kids don’t see their dads doing the toughest job to earn money so that their kids and family can have better life. Not saying all the kids are like that though
This is the coolest, most loving thing I've seen in the animal world. This is soo wonderful that someone recorded this whole life lesson, and then you shared it with us on RU-vid. Thank you! 😊
Very... I saw one under my chair one day! During a power outage in the drive way. Thankfully the two cats under the car next to me didn't start anything, but I just looked down and said, "Ohh you are cute.... please go away... please....."
@@wolffriendinus I scared one that was eating our outdoor cats food, I looked it straight down the barrel and said, "I'm the one that feeds you." PHEW.... not PEW ;-)

Every time I see one, I think of a video I took of my dog. She's a 100lb Pyrenees Mastiff & raised on 125 acres protecting cows from coyotes, yet she ran from this skunk as if she had a massive lion on her tail. The skunk had to have chased her at least 5 acres until she finally reached the house, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. 😂
Mom: "Honey, its easy. Look, watch me." Baby: "But mom-" Mom: "Look, I'll do it again." Baby: "Mom.... There's a better-" Mom: "Jr, pay attention! Look watch me!" Baby: "Momma, there's steps over there." Mom: "....When we get home, don't tell your father about this."
I love the commentary from the people filming. Also skunks are pretty smart, mom probably knew there was an easy way via the stairs but wanted to teach her baby how to climb tough obstacles
@@a.florschutzcamplin9011 I live in very wooded suburbs. I see far less wildlife here than I did when I lived in the middle of London. There I had fox cubs growing up in my tiny garden, amazing evening bat swarms - of several species - badgers nosing about, blackbirds singing their beautiful songs, indeed all sorts of birds, frogs, snakes, turtles, red squirrels, even peacocks. Well, I do get to see lots of wild turkeys currently. Everything is eaten by the coyote-wolf cross.
So sweet! One time, I saw her look to her left when she was on top at the corner, searching for another way. I like skunks. They're very intelligent, and have never "bothered" (sprayed) me when I've been working or hanging out in the yard, day or night.
That cracked up when the momma skunk realized there were steps e few feet away. All that work jump up and down trying to show her baby skunk how to climb a little wall.
I loved the sound of their voice while they were observing nature doing its thing. You know that was with them for the rest of the day. Appreciate the simple moments. ❤
I've always thought that skunks were one of the cutest animals. I mean, look at them... aren't they adorable? And the littler they are, the cuter they are, especially when they're angry and stomp their feet. You could just die laughing! ☺️ 🦨😍😂🤣🥰🦨🤍🖤🤍🦨
Animals taught me that showing what we want to teach the child or youngs is very significant. Telling them what to do is not enough especially if we're unclear of how to do things and lack of why they have to do it that way.
Skunks are in the same family as ferrets. They are funny, smart, playful and good for the environment. They are omnivores who eat plants, bugs, mushrooms, fruit etc. their claws are for digging up grubs , more than defense. They need their stink because it’s really its only weapon. They aren’t super fast or fierce. They aren’t great at jumping or hunting. They trundle along poking around looking for little snacks. They don’t even have a continuous supply of stink , they have to let their glands refill before they can squirt again if they had used it all. ( guys should understand the concept) That’s why they give lots of warnings. Their colors, they raise their tail, they stamp their feet to try to drive away the predators without actually spraying. They prefer to come out at night because darkness is protective although Great horned owls love to eat them. The owls can’t smell the stink. I once chased down a skunk with a cup stuck on its head. It was February, when male skunks come out to look for the dens of female to cuddle for a bit. This poor guy had tried to lick the sweet residue from a DD cup and gotten stuck. I had to reach down to snatch it off. I was pretty sure he wouldn’t spray because he couldn’t see me very well and he probably had already let off his load. I was right and was able to yank it off without losing him into the undergrowth. He shot off in one direction and I jumped in another, we were both very relieved. Another time my dad was visiting my aunt and as they came home, they saw what they thought was the neighbor’s pet skunk, run into the garage. My aunt told my dad to not let him out while she phoned his owners. Every time the skunk started to try to leave my dad would do a little dance, wave his arms and sing to it. Finally, my aunt cautiously stuck her head out to say that the neighbor’s pet skunk was NOT missing. My dad had been serenading a very baffled wild skunk. It never tried to spay him although it did try to intimidate him. I’d love to have a pet skunk. They can be de-scented like ferrets but they are susceptible to rabies and there is not a vaccine ( I don’t think they really tried 😡) In most jurisdictions they will seize your pet and kill it. Please remember they are wonderful animals who are slow, travel at night and in February, the males are love addled. Please drive careful. I call February, skunk luv month.
I'm so happy they didn't freak out when they saw the skunks. Skunks are easy to get along with if you learn how they behave & learn to understand them.
Just like human life. Stick by your little ones, even if they don’t get it right the first, second, or even third time. There will always be a way to solve the problem. Thank you so much for letting us see this precious moment. With love and best wishes. Teresa. (Uk). xxx
