I just saw the end of Season 2. I didn't like the fact that the show wasn't renewed -- I don't think Netflix publicized the second season enough, I didn't even know it was out already.
I didn't think I'd end up enjoying this show as much as I did, the story sounds insane but is so well developped throughout as well as the characters ! Season two ended up being even better than the first which is quite rare, and it has such a high rewatchability factor it's incredible. Even with the high fantasy elements it stays grounded in it's characters that are the heart of the show and you end up rooting for them really fast. Also slowburns between non-straight characters are practicly inexistent so it's refreshing in that way too. Overall a great show that should definitely get a season 3 thanks to that open ending that leaves room for theories and speculations !
Hey Albatross; season 2 has a 100 percent on rotten tomatoes. I was like what the heck😱that is a huge farcry from season 1. This is the only show iv seen that has improved over the first season dramatically and that fast. Is it really that good?? First season had a 69 percent.
@@albatross6093 pftt.😏have you seen the Chosen. Now that show is the Bomb. Its retelling the story of Jesus and his disciples. a pretty emotional series too. love all the episodes. season 3 has come to theaters well the first two episodes. Lots of amazing tv series that came out, kingdom, warrior nun and the mandalorian. Im Very glad though that warrior nun improved over the first season. But i wouldn’t say its the best.
Keep streaming Warrior Nun Season 2 on Netflix over and over again (it can be played in the background on low volume so that you can do other things and it'll still count towards views on Netflix). This is crucial within the first 28 days of a release in determining whether Netflix will renew a show!!!! Also, keep tagging Netflix in your social media posts that you want a Season 3 of Warrior Nun; don't give up, we got this! #RenewWarriorNun #WarriorNun #WarriorNun2 #WarriorNunS3
I still don't get why the tarrask didn't appear in the training sequence... she should've been wearing the vest from season 1 that conceals the halo's energy ... I'm still hopeful for the film trilogy
That helmet is terrible. The design is flawed by using chain mail. Chain mail is meant to be used with a cloth or leather backing to help prevent penetration. This seems just to have a “look” only.
Superion in the emergency conclave was highlight of season.the pacing in finale was really really bad , characters were standing around literally doing nothing. They could have blown up the cross almost instantly. It was poorly directed and edited.
I really hope for more seasons if we all bother netflix and say they are making a big mistake we will be stronger and maybe they will continue with this great show❤
There's no character development, with the exception of Lilith. Ava is pathetic, always whining. While the followers of Adriel pray and power his device, non of the sisters do. That is so out of character. There's no plot development either: we're left to guess the actual reason for the halo always switching off. All plot devices like divinium, tarask, portal are all poorly used. The only exception are the halo itself and Lilith's transformation.
The chain face thing is an interesting work around the issue films have with helmets, it won't keep your head from being busted but maybe cut LOL Still interesting how they delt with showing the face and trying to keep it somewhat realistic.
Lilith is badass and Ava, well Damn.. I’m at the part where Lilith just killed those dudes in the tunnel, Adriel is walking around like he’s the man.. 😂
True. That was disappointing, as was the off-screen and still unexplained death of Sister Mary. That strikes me as an artifact of the actress not being available or something.
@@khanktinga something tells me sis Mary may not be really dead. Or even if she died they will give an explanation of her death in season 3. She was one of the key characters in season 1 so it will be bad to write her off like that.
@@studylisiology8387 Yes. The character deserved more than she got in Season 2, which was almost nothing. Just a few scenes and lines where other characters are looking for her, only to be told that she died, which they either accepted or set aside any hope that they were being lied to deal with the immediate problem. But like I said, I can't think that the writers did that to her character as part of a larger plan. It definitely looks like something that had to be done on short notice. It's not a "Somehow, Palpatine returned," moment, but it definitely leaves a bad aftertaste.
The show has some cringey moments and the budget kind of is what it is, but overall I found it immensely entertaining. The big picture story they’re telling is really cool, and the worldbuilding is excellent. They’ve set up a pretty rich context if they can get future seasons to work with. And they consistently surprised me with some of the directions they took. Definitely not perfect, but it is a worthwhile watch and I hope we get another season.
One point I have against the second season is the absurd and extremely unrealistic inaction of the world’s secular governments. For instance, as soon as anyone (let alone a head of state, which the pope is, since the Vatican is considered it’s own nation) was killed on live tv, the Spanish government would have sent in the police to bring Adrial and his followers in for questioning. The world’s governments would have already considered Adriel’s cult to be suspected terrorists. If the cult resisted, they would have been officially labeled terrorists by the governments of the world and things would have escalated from there. However despite this giant nitpick, I still like this show and eagerly await a third season.
Honey, the show has demons etc and THAT'S your issue? It's basically an alternate universe And besides, half the Vatican is indoctrinated in the show Pay attention
@@lostforever773 with the exception of the supernatural elements (which in till recently was kept secret from most of the world) warrior nun’s world looked and sounded exactly like our world. I am only disappointed in the fact that the show ignored centuries of political progress in regards to religion, for without that progress the world wouldn’t even remotely resemble our world (including technology). However like I said, despite the giant plot hole of the world’s secular governments complete inaction against a likely terrorist (the Vatican obviously doesn’t count as a secular government), I still liked the show. I just simply wanted to acknowledge the giant plot hole, that’s all.
@@lostforever773 a plot hole is where the story plot ignores a key reality that would otherwise alter the events of the story. Tell me how would the US and Spanish military waging war on Adriel and his cult not alter the show’s events, lol. Now I understand why the show writers chose to do this plot hole for not ignoring it would raise the show budget significantly, and render everyone but Ava useless. However a giant plot hole is a giant plot hole and should be addressed by someone regardless of how good the show otherwise is.
I love this drama BUT when season 2 started they seem to have forgot about the fight that was about to start at the end of season 1. So ! what happened
