"Keeping Expectations low" well this just blew everyone away. I love it. My favourite things is not the big things (and while that is insane, I prefer other thing) but small things like new creative exotics, guns and other stuff. For example a small buff to offensive Bullwark, the new portable Failsafe Hazardous Propulsion (Failsafe is best gurl, and the exo is really fun too). Then new stuff like the new echo weapons, some buff to old weapons and all that. While the big stuff and Meta is really amazing, I love that bungie focused on stuff not everybody will like, but a small section will enjoy a lot. Also a lot of little details on designs, envoirement, music, speech patterns and so on. This is why I love this game so much and why it means so much to all of us. This truely was a love letter to Destiny and Us. Thank you Bungie

The best part about cayde and ikora's reunion, that really messed with me, was back in season of the haunted, in lore, ikora was tormented by a nightmare of Cayde, and was excused from excusing her nightmare by Eris, who knew there was nothing that ikora could blame herself for, regarding Cayde and his death. Their reunion in the traveler must've been so horribly distressing before the relief kicked in.

Mara momentarily losing her composure at the thought of losing her brother for a second time was heartbreaking to hear 😢

The "calcification" of the universe is even worst than people might think since as the beginning cutscene shown, you're still aware while calcified.

lots of tears throughout this campaign. Some of the best writing Bungie have ever accomplished, phenomenal voice acting, incredible cutscenes. IMO....best story theyve ever made; beating out forsaken and taken king.

I have fully played this campaign twice. I have watched 8 other people's reactions and it still hits hard. Bungie did it. This was immaculate story telling and gameplay fused together like prismatic fuses Light and Dark.

The Witness' VA is Brett Dalton; also Mike (Until Dawn) & Freyr (God of War Ragnarok).

1:15:22 I don't remember if it's touched on in the story of TFS, but Eramis is gone. After Rasputin sacrificed himself to stop the Warsats, Eramis abandoned the Sol System. She's gone into deep space, seeking to reunite with her mate, Athrys. House Salvation isn't working under her anymore.

so I could be very wrong about this, but I think the astronaut in the vision is supposed to be us, since the Traveler showed the titan that died trying to go through the portal the first time some part of their past life. which would explain why we're so powerful in the lore, we made first contact with the Traveler 🤔🤔🤔

The thing is, the Veil kinda is already combined with the Traveler, just forced by the Witness. The Traveler is now introduced to darkness. It's not that bad, just that the Witness corrupted the Traveler with both light and dark.

Iv been waiting a while for this video I'm glad to see you finished it. It was like playing it all over again watching your journey and the fact you were really interested in all the lore had me hooked instantly. From one god to another thanks you really helped me threw a tough time ❤

I think the scene with the astronaut is supposed to be us guardians in a vision the traveler was showing. And the bird is supposed to be the traveler, the witness disrupting that vision.

day 1 may have been hell thanks to the servers dying, but it was WELL worth it! i said in a clan server, but i can say, this is desiny's endwalker and that is not a bad thing! this is possibly bungie's best work and prismatic is such a great new toy to play with, i do wish there were a few more options, especially since i played hunter, but other than that, i'm still having fun. the call, first off, fantastic name for a gun, secondly only the second of it's only the second of a new archetype of sidearm that i love! and i'm a guy who generally doesn't like side arms, save for the rocket assisted frame and forerunner, because that things a hand cannon disguised as a sidearm and i love it for it. the other guns you get from the pale heart are actually pretty good too, but i'll let you experiment with them once you get them, happy to see you still doing this, can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the game and have fun! edit: i forgot to mention keith david's performance as zavala! EF!! but yeah, keith david's zavala is REALLY good in this, he managed to capture the sad and tired nature of zavala, but then again everyone is giving their all in the final shape and i am all for it!

I went through all that in day one, suspicious I missed the back-to-back zavala cutscenes too, because the same exact thing happened to me after I finished the mission, but I continued anyway and missed all of the context the first time around, only saw it later when I was going through on alts. Also like a bunch of other people have said, basically just looked at this channel every day to see if there was a video~

Offering to take Crows self-imposed burden of worth (Witness claims Crow believes that his capacity for pain is purpose and worth, i.e. his suffering is of value). I think the line was too complex for half of the community to understand it tho lmao

I don't think Well of Radiance was nerfed because of Song of Flame. In order to receive the effects of both supers you'd still need two Warlocks and most people primarily play solo unless they actively go out of their way to play stuff with other people. Song of Flame also isn't incredible for single target damage and Well of Radiance requires you to stay in the same spot. The reason why Well of Radiance was nerfed is because Bungie didn't like the idea of an healing super actually doing what it is suppose to do.

also you should totally go do the Dual Destinies mission for the exotic class item if you haven't already. It's got a couple of... *interesting* revelations, but you will need a partner - one single partner - to even start it. 54:55 - that sidearm is part of a frame family introduced with the Warlord's Ruin dungeon from last season, the Rocket-Assisted Sidearm. Their common traits are using Special ammo and hitting like a truck.

I've said it under two other people's videos, I feel confident saying it again here: Bungie STUCK THE LANDING. Somehow. It's rare that anything in games moves me, but the ending of this 10-year saga came *goddamn close*. and a bonus fun fact in case you forgot: the special ammo sword you get during the post-campaign? That's the same one that was *on our grave* when we found it back in Season of Dawn. And yet here we are. We're alive.
