Is there a themeparc with six great hotels? With more than a hundred attractions? For children and adults? With fantastic theming and countless details? With exciting shows? And right next door one of the best water parks in Europe? Yes, it exists. Europapark in Rust/Germany
@@sandraperkovic5254 indeed. there is a great documentary about how the park started as a true family leisure park and there are a lot of parts still there from the early days. The fact it is family owned plays a huge role. They had a mantra about no rides with inversions. That was completely deliberate and looking at my mom's or girlfriend's fear about them it's clear that this choice was made to keep it as family friendly as possible.
I’m certainly not the only one proposing Phantasialand or Efteling for the first place. I’m glad you liked my and MACK RIDES’ home park ! Btw , 2025 is the 50.Anniversary of the park… Come and loose yourself for some hours in this immersive park with lands (quarters) themed to various European countries…Germany,Italy,France,England,Russia, Netherlands,Switzerland,Austria, Ireland,Scandinavia (🇫🇮🇳🇴🇸🇪), Iceland ,Croatia,Spain, Portugal,Luxemburg and Liechtenstein .
Last year I spend about 20 to 30 days in the parc and every visit you find something that you did not see before even if you visited Europapark for 1000 times. :)
Thanks for your great review. I live 30min drive to EP and love seeing how this park developed over the last years. Especially with my son growing up. He's now 15 and I remember how I was changing diapers in niced themed spots, his first ride on Pegasus and now he's doing a presentation about Voltron in english class.😊 But have you also experienced the shows. This is an additional program where you can spend a whole day. Especially in the winter season they have a more than 1 h circus show which is a great experience. And they also have closed from January to March for maintenance, which is great. All the rides are available during the season.
I never got a chance to do the shows! I forgot to mention them but that’s just another massive part of the park that takes even more time to fully experience. I’ll hopefully see some the next time I visit!
I was wondering if you tried out "Fluch der Kassandra" in Greece? It is very well hidden, I love that ride. But brace your butt. People who know... know...
Always interesting to hear the opinions of new visitors. Since it's my homepark, for me it feels like normally what Europapark offers and you don't really appreciate it anymore. But honestly, after my 3 Weeks in the USA I felt that when visiting Europapark again! 🥲😅
Yeah I can imagine it’s hard to see how good you have it when you’re always there! I’ve got the opposite right now, where I’m realizing how bad I have it in the USA 😂
Sitting and enjoying the atmosphere is so underrated. Best place to have a blast is the patio of the Spices restaurant just got watching people on Fjord Rafting getting soaked first in the wave pool and then from the manual fountain just at the other side. It's a whole crowd gathering there waiting for boats to float too close to the fountain and it's hilarious. 😂
I’ll be going to Europa-Park in October. Most of my trip will be in Italy exploring Tuscany. But my connecting flights are in Frankfurt, and I planned my trip to include two full days in Europa-Park. I know they do their own Halloween thing during October weekends (titled Traumatica) and it looks like Europe’s equivalent to Halloween Horror Nights at the Universal parks.
Nahh I read your name as "Theme Park Theory" haha Also, yay! Blue Fire truly is fun, don't know the grudge people have It's not I305 guys :P I love that this is my closest theme park, love going there ^^ Great video! New sub :D
5:30 that little ride is the best example of "what the fuck is happening, its bigger on the inside" the entrance is literally a small unsuspecting door in the middle of a small gateway between a rafting wateride and a carnival alley. And then you enter with a whole queue line underneath all of that with a decent long dark ride.
Great Review, you earned a sub :) Europa park is considered by many to be one of the best parks in the world, but it even gets a little overshadowed by Phantasialand (in my opinion for a good reason). I am curious how you will review that one. Said that, I am about to visit the corner where you come from (Tampa, Florida) and i cant wait to find out how our best parks compare with the elites from the US. Have a great rest of your day and keep on doing what you love.
Thank you so much! And enjoy the US! We do some things very well and others not so much (capacity, operational efficiency, etc.). Smaller parks tend to be the charming ones here, with places like Dollywood and BGW being the highlights of the larger regional parks.
What's the next European park you want to visit? There's a lot to choose from: Efteling, Phantasialand, Heide park, Disneyland paris, Gardaland and Alton towers
I was just on a big trip through Germany and I visited Holiday Park, Tripsdrill, EP, Hansa Park, Heide Park, Movie Park, Toverland and Phantasialand! Next up would likely be parks in Belgium and the Netherlands at some point in the future!
Oh boy, I was so shocked while visiting my first non german theme park (PortAventura) a little over 10 years ago because I was just used to the Europa Park experience (as it is my home park which I visited regularly as a kid and today)… Not being able to do stuff without paying so much extra (and even then we missed many important stuff). It is mind blowing how entitled we were having this marvel in front of our doors… I am still a bit jealous that you can ride Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster any day you want to 😅 but we got Voltron so it’s ok.
Yeah it’s crazy to go to other, lesser parks when the standard is so high for you, I felt the same way going to other American parks after growing up with Universal and Busch Gardens
Great video! For your 'other best theme park', I would consider Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany a big contender. Also, if you favor dark rides over coasters, storytelling and theming are the main priorities, Efeteling should be mentioned as another good possibility. :)
Thank you! I tend to sit right in the middle, loving intense rides first and foremost, but vastly preferring when those rides are highly themed, and Europa Park does that better than almost any park in the world in my opinion!
I think I have a VERY distinct idea of what other park that might be... Lol Nice Vlog, I hope I get to try out Voltron soon. That coaster looks great. EP is fantastic, but I wish they'd update more of their old stuff. Sone of their old animatronics look... Strange
Liked your video! I grew up 1 hour from the EuropaPark and I love this place so much. Growing up close to Orlando also sounds so cool! Have you been on the "Piraten in Batavia" ride in the EuropaPark?
And you haven’t even been there during Halloween or Christmas he while park is dressed up euromir becomes a giant pumpkin and they even have some extra rides fitting to season
I've never been on the CanCan Coaster but boy, do I miss Eurosat already. I loved the theme, I love the soundtrack, I loved the ride. Does the CanCan Coaster have a hard breaking at the end? Not sure if they changed the whole layout of the ride but Eurosat gave me literally headaches after 13 rides back to back. Good ol' times.
@@DevilzzFA Nostalgia will make us miss EuroSat forever but CanCan is really good and I thought it's very smooth. I was pleasantly surprised, especially after that poor experience on the Euromir which didn't see me twice on my last visit. Didn't ride CanCan 13 times in a row though :D
@@borstenpinsel Did they also change Euromir? IMHO it was never a bad ride at all. Simple, short and had the most fun at the end. I think I should pay Europa Park a visit this year or next year, I am somewhat hyped ^^
@@DevilzzFA they didn't. It's just painful to ride nowadays and I didn't remember it to be that bad 20 years ago. I would ride it several times no problem but last time...nope. Knees and back hurt quite a bit. Maybe they just need to put some cushions in the carts lol
Most days still means not on weekends, not during school holidays or bank holidays in the surrounding area (3 countries) especially France who also like to spend their days of union strikes at the park😂 I've had days with 1.5 hour queues even on the freaking River rapids. But they expanded the park quite a bit since then with new rides and simply more area and I'm glad the attention shifted away from Silver Star to the newer ones, so I can ride it more often 😅
I just was recently on a week day and i waited not longer than 20 minutes on the main attractions, except Voltron (60) and Wodan (50). So i could ride almost everything and it was my best visit ever
Have you been to Phantasia Land Brühl? Weird I bring that up, huh? But on every EP video there are people saying PL is so much better. I'm more of an Europe Park guy but I'd be interested in your opinion 😅 EP is gorgeous. I haven't been to many non-German parks so I can't say it's the best in the world but it's great, albeit they could tone down their Disney copying a bit, or maybe they have but now are stuck with a copy of Epcot Sphere and a Mascot that is a Mouse that parades through the Park😅
I visited Europa Park for the first time on June 12/13th this year and while Efteling is still my favorite park I can’t deny that Europa park is objectively the best park I’ve ever visited and possibly ever will visit.
While I consider myself lucky to have this overall good theme park in close range, EP feels like mass processing in quite a couple of aspects. Phantasialand and Efteling just go much further in regards to creating the best possible experience. And this is kind of sad considering EP does have the finances to do much better, but no, they just go for good enough. Nevertheless I understand that's still an incredible package, if you mainly know amusement parks without any considerable theming.
Sry but i respectfuly disagree. Phantasialand may have 3-4 good coasters and two nice water rides, there isnt much else to do in this Park and if its not huge crowded, i am done by 3-4 hours and can already leave the park. The theming might be from a single point of view stunning, but it doesnt immerge me that much, bcs its so tiny and packed, that it lost its magic for me. Idk something about the park bothers me. And you always have to remove an attraction to build a new one. There isnt much nostalgia left in this park. Efteling might have nice attractions too and a beautiful landscape, but it doesnt offer any really good thrill rides, nor many good dark rides, beside one. Europa Park imo does more than just going for "good enough". I could tell you more than one example for being more than "just good enough" in theming and/ or attractions. It is the whole package and the magic that you get lost in. Ofc, if you get a very busy day in the park, its barely enjoable, but which park doesnt have that issue?
