The Donner party would have been thrilled to have that amount of food for them! Although produce would be difficult to maintain except for root vegetables like carrots and potatoes. I've worked in many kitchens myself as a prep and line cook etc.
I wouldn’t care if there were ghosts and a maniac caretaker staying there. With all that food I wouldn’t care. I however am curious about that canned toaster.

The weird thing was that the kitchen could be accesses from both the right and the left sides of the reception hall. Somehow the ghosts in the hotel created a rift in the space time continuum. They also kept changing the layout of the maze. And the Gold Room was a portal to an alternate timeline.
