@@johnanderson3559They became yolked *after* the war with Vez'nan. Back then they were fresh troops after years of peace. Nowadays with Vez'Nan's return, each and every soldier of Linirea is a hardened veteran.
No not even that, fact is their stats have switched places. Bandits in KR1 straight up murder Tier 1 soldiers and in KRV Tier 1 soldiers straight up murder Tier 1 Dark Knights whether its veteran difficulty or not.
The reason the enemies are weaker now, is because kingdom rush has a actual timeline and it was in the future so the good side, from the original, got stronger to defeat the enemies which are on your side in vengeance.

Kingdom Rush Vengeance is a bit more creative because you get to choose the towers you want to incorporate in the battles. Also, different towers can work on different enemies who have their weaknesses.
@@veznan3308 Actually, Vez'nan did interact with them but this wasn't shown in the game. In Jun'pai's lore, it was stated that after the deep devils failed in their campaign (presumably KRF), Vez'nan showed up and offered them redemption if they give their allegiance to him, and they agreed.

Its kinda stupid how campaign world progress , these recruits should be your first barracks and the weakest one , in vengeance it sucks that Dwarfs your bonus barracks in lizards caves are now a lot weaker than recruits , it is just how purely unbalanced power characters turn from first three parts and vengeance , but i liked Dark knight vibes with tanking and good armor and Twilight bloody shoots and dodging , swampthings 👌unbelievably strong as we remember with range shoots and tanking , sea creatures had some vibes but i would rather made them bonus tower against their true enemies frogs with water advantage .
Nah what green fins and red spines can't tank for shit even on the lower difficulties compared to frontiers, I mean I get why, it's cuz they have to be scaled down to being a tower, so imma be honest I think most if not all got a nerf relatively speaking.
Some people dont understand, (one of the) points of KR games is for the enemies to be MUCH STRONGER than barracks units, so naturally in KRV they become weaker than in KR and footsoldiers become way stronger in KRV than in KR And yes, i know its still kinda dumb that they got SO much weaker
