The enemy does NOT want you to know this! (HOW TO FIGHT BACK) 

Thank you for this teaching Cait. Since my wife passed a few years ago, I've had some serious struggles in my thoughts and emotions. She was a prophetic inner healer, and I've never met anyone so close to the Lord, with such a mature walk. It's not that she never stumbled with sin, but it was relatively rare. Something which impresses me to this day, as I still aspire to a higher level than where I am. Some of my greatest breakthroughs came from fasting and fervent prayer. The Holy Spirit would allow a specific sin in me to surface, and after stumbling and repenting over and over, I would start seeking the Lord for a more permanent change. In this my wife shared her testimony, as to how the Lord would come in power and free her from an enemy stronghold. I believed her testimony, and applied it myself. For example, I had much difficulty around lust, and I was being shown by the Lord that I needed to address it. I fasted (water only) for around two weeks, resisting the sin with all of my willpower, and frequently praying fervently for His power to come and change my heart. It was not something I could simply "turn off", like a switch. If anything, it was more like a switch that was stuck on, and I stumbled frequently. After turning to the Lord with ALL my heart, deciding that I would get my breakthrough or starve to death, His power came and changed me inside. Jesus changed something that I did not have the power to change on my own, and I found that when I noticed an attractive woman, I no longer felt that pull inside, that ungodly desire. I learned that this process is called Sanctification, and that it is possible to be freed from things that we cannot free ourselves from. I share this with you and whoever else may take encouragement from reading this, that when you are stuck in a sin, Jesus has your way out. Not every sin that I have had to deal with has been dealt with this way. Sometimes I stumbled in sin due to a lie that I believed. To this day I still have to purposely counter some persistent lies with the Truth of God's Word. Other areas were due to abuse, which I had to forgive and seek the Lord for healing in my heart (of which He has done much, as evidenced by the fact that I haven't taken any lives, which was a strong temptation for many years). Forgiving and receiving healing in my heart helped me to move past the rage and hatred that developed from the mistreatment I received from parents and other authority figures. Because of Jesus Christ the enemy's plan to cause me to destroy others and myself has failed. Your teaching is spot-on, and I wanted to thank you for the encouragement. Even though I know to do this, at times I have forgotten and slipped up as a result (such as recently). Your teaching reminded me to go back over events, and really look at where my thoughts and attitudes were, and what they should have been. Thank you again sister, and may the Lord continue to prosper you in your mind and heart.

This is sooooo very true. I just recently learned about the narcs and their tricks. I had an ex I was in love with but was not following God at the time and she destroyed me and almost killled me. Her recenty husband killed himself over her infidelity and selfishness. I always felt the ony way she could feel loved was by hurting or dominating me anyway possible as I am an Empath too. I still resent her for that, but wish things could have been different between us. I really cared about her.

The closer I was getting to surrendering my whole heart over to Jesus, placing all my trust in him, being saved by him, the more intensely the enemy was working on me. He tried many ways to use fear to scare me and beat me down. But I did not stop seeking to know more and more of who Jesus is for me. God used these trials for me to have to rely on him more, learn, know, feel and experience that it's his strength not mine. That he gives me every breath, there is nothing I myself do to have each breath. Once I finally wholeheartedly trusted Jesus with my whole heart, and prayed the salvation prayer, my whole spirit felt healed, though the journey continued but this time I knew God's strength was on my side (always was) with my faith in him, so even though the enemy continued for another year, God used that to strengthen my faith in Jesus. Do not give up! Like Cait said, "Never give up and the Devil will". God also works through health providers, though that is not a replacement for being saved, after being saved God also placed all the best health providers in my life to help me heal from PTSD. Bio-feedback and an amazing Psychiatrist who has helped with my depression, anxiety, ADHD, scary dreams, and cyclothymia with very low doses of Rx's where I feel more like myself taking them with all these mental health issues at bay, which also helps the processing and re-wiring and healing from counseling be more effective. Prayers for you both and all of us who have gone through or going through these things. God bless you, and remember to call on the name of Jesus, there is power in his name. Fear God, not the enemy because God is the one who has the power and his power is to heal you, help you, and never harm you.

I believe this! Periods of isolation with the Lord teach us dependence on Him. Jesus Himself was misunderstood by many around Him (including His own brother and family) and spent time being alone with the Father. I just suffered such a threat and could literally feel my heart give in. I kept praying and asking God to come to my aid and it was dead silent, I felt so abandoned and rejected, but still continued to pray on not giving up, praising him and uplifting his name. When I felt the evil presence which felt like a spirit of death leave, I had open a scripture whilst I was praying but when I read it out it was a heartbreaking scripture to read, I fell back into weakness and it came back in a matter of minutes. Already weak and alone, I felt as though I had to give in and pass but looking at my kids, I stood in spirit again to fight against and deny death by the blood of Jesus and claim life and full authority over my life in Jesus mighty name. It left me crying like a baby in such bitter tears. Please pray with me to overcome this lie of the enemy over my life 🙏.

I'm so sorry. 🙏Pray everyday constantly. Be careful what you watch on TV. Satan can attack you through the TV. My husband also has crippling attacks. Then we look back at what he's been watching on TV. And you must focus on pure, holy, and holsome shows not news not movies. Just bible stuff on U-tube would be best. Get rid of regular TV. It's so sad and comforting to know we're not alone! The heaviness and panic is so extreme and real and feels like you can't escape. I JUST bought the book help and hopes for your nerves, I heard it's amazing. The spirit of death and demonic is REAL and when it comes on it feels like you can't escape. Jesus is the only answer, our only hope. Sometimes it feels like He's a million miles away and that's exactly what the enemy wants us to believe. When I go through extreme panic attacks I do the same thing, watch cartoons with my kids and connect with family that can offer support. God is also teaching me to get to the root now. WHY am I having panic attacks? Why is there fear? What area in my mind and heart have I left open to the enemy? What wrong beliefs do I have or trauma that needs healing? No child of God should ever have to experience such incredible torment, I know it's not Gods will. I pray that you all get complete healing and recovery!!! Ultimately we have the incredible hope of peace for all eternity with Him.

I am praying for you my brother. Stay firm and walk in victory. Always pray and seek for confirmation up to 3-5 times if you need to. Don't judge by your senses or by just one evidence. Take back your confirmations to GOD. And keep silent while doing this process. I mean pray in your head, receive the confirmation, keep quiet, ask for more confirmation, keep quiet, etc.. Everything you set your mind to, Always believe it IS in your blueprint. You don't deserve it because it was reserved for you centuries before you. Hey, I would like to give you a verse to fight lust: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 This really helped me because Jesus has already set us free from the bondage of sin so we must remain in that freedom and not go back to our prisons. How could we go back to what Christ has already freed us from?

Spending time in the Word of God and prayer helps us overcome the flesh🙏🏼

There is a 12 step fellowship called slaa. If you find you cannot break free alone it may help. I don't know if you are Catholic but the rosary is a powerful tool. Jesus we trust in thee. ❤

@@Mark-qm4ud My Bible is on my pillow now. When I walk in my bedroom, I cannot miss it. I can now start to distinguish the voice of Satan when he starts to attack. I can quote Bible verses to him to proof the incorrectness of the assertions he wants to put in my mind. I do still fall back to the habits that Satan have grown over a long period of time in my mind, but it feels as if I manage to limit further growth of those bad habits. With Gods help and increasing my knowledge of God's Word I might be able to stay strong.

2 Corinthians 10:5 - "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" This helps me a lot when I have a negative thought. There is literally scripture to help you with each thought. God bless! :)
